DISNEY 2025!!!

Let's get your family to DISNEY next year!!

Our DISNEY story:
The girls had been asking to go to DISNEY for many years and J's answer was always, when A turns 8. Well, A turns 8 and COVID hits. We are not going to DISNEY all masked up- I refused. So we go to Hot Springs Village, AR (lake house), Jackson Hole, Wyoming (beautiful) with family, then North Carolina- Land of Waterfalls (and the Biltmore). This is when DISNEY gets brought back to the table. In North Carolina, at our VRBO home, eating dinner on the outside deck, we discuss our next trip. The girls bring up DISNEY..... well, we have no reason not to, sooooo here we go! I contacted Annette Duplechin and she sent me on to Melissa Vincent (travel planning team) and we started planning. We planned to go in July the following year. March of that year rolls around and we get J's cancer diagnosis. Our plans changed. We had a plan for treatments, we had a timeline, and we had something to look forward to... our rescheduled DISNEY trip. This life changing event that was happening in our lives made our first DISNEY trip that much more magical. We were still a whole family, we were healthy, we were taking this rescheduled trip! New Year's DISNEY trip, here we go! We had the most magical time!!! I am not a fan of roller coasters, or crowds of people, or theme parks..... but friends..... these are not regular roller coasters, these are not regular crowds of people, these are not regular theme parks...... DISNEY parks are memory makers, nostalgia themed rides that immerse you in the DISNEY magic, cast members creating the friendliest vacation, walkways turning crowds into other memory making families.
We rope dropped and closed the parks for 5 straight days. We had thrills, laughs, photos, sweet treats, and came home with a new family inside joke. We also came home planning on when we were able to go back, because we were that in love with the magical bubble!
I never would have thought I'd be planning more trips to DISNEY after that. It was supposed to be a one and done. Now we plan our DISNEY vacation in rotation with our other bucket list trips.

Did you know that Cozumel has more than just beach hangouts?!
🏝️ Not that those aren’t great!! 🏝️

However, if you are a couple like us, a little more on the 🤓nerdy/history/explorer side 🌎 , Cozumel has some great places to visit!

We rented a scooter 🛵 from HTL Rentals in Cozumel and scoot scooted our way around the island.
We visited the San Gervasio ruins first thing in the morning and we had the place almost all to ourselves! It was nice and shaded, and the morning temps were perfect! We did a self guided tour with a map. 🗺️ It was amazing to see ruins from so long ago and walk the same cobbled paths that many explorers and early peoples walked.
Right down the road from the ruins is the Mayan Bee 🐝 Sanctuary! These tiny bees are amazing! Again, we were able to get a personalized tour with just us and the tour guide!
We finished our day off with some shopping near the port and a great little lunch from the little blue truck 🛻 where the locals ate.
So… if you are up for a little adventure and exploration… Cozumel may be the place for you!

These beautiful ladies and dear friends of mine went to beautiful Nova Scotia this summer! If you can’t tell by their shirts, they did an Anne of Green Gables tour.
This was a budget friendly trip with a great tour company that takes care of everything from transportation, meals, sightseeing, and not to mention you get to meet people from all over the world!
