I attended the symposium not only to learn about elevating my business in the realm of luxury but also to make connections.
I joined GTN weeks before the pandemic so this has been my first in person event that I've been able to attend. I reconnected with advisors I met on the trip in 2021, met some wonderful ladies with Wisconsin roots, others that are excelling in the TMBA program and more seasoned in the business of travel.
Again meeting top executives of our preferred partners was icing on the cake. I've taken away from this experience that this network is strong and want to see you succeed. Surrounding myself and finding some of my tribe was achieved during this symposium. I'm grateful.
Another excursion on the AmaMora was to Bruges, Belgium... a quaint village with a rich history. It's also known for beer and chocolate.
I'm trying to tame my sweet tooth but I did go in the shops to marvel at the selections. If you've flown Brussels Airline recently, then you've received some chocolate from the Neuhaus company.
The symposium was so enlightening. The first night, I sat with other advisors, Heather that works at GTN and Kess from the ....I don't think we talked any business but we had a great time getting to know each other and schemed how we could sit next to each other the next night.
One of our excursions was to Ghent to admire one of the largest cathedrals I've ever seen. This art piece is so detailed and beautiful.
I would say the greatest takeaway from the symposium was having organic conversations with partners. At one lunch I sat with Alex from and Mina from , we discussed the Soulful Experience where Amawaterways is highlighting African American history on the new river cruise experience.... and what are the other hot spots in Greece that travelers are not aware of that still includes some island hopping.
I'm definitely grateful for the organic conversations because I am a true introvert and that relieved some pressure.

I met the owner of at a event last year and have been following them since. An event was to be hosted at her store and I knew I wanted to attend.
If you know me then you know I love a good blanket... but I'm not the burning candle type of person. However, I wanted to try it out.
The event was so thoughtful, not your typical outing... everything had a purpose. The scents weren't too strong which is why I don't burn candles or have perfumery things in my house. I liked two scents so much I mixed them together.
I'm looking forward to lighting this wick in March to see how "Cozy" smells.
The blanket portion of the event was taught by , and it's already on my couch ready to be snuggled in. Oh course I had to make it my Memphis Tigers colors.💙🩶💙🩶

I arrived in Amsterdam 5 hours later than intended due to delays but still early enough to do a little bit of sight seeing.
