This year I've been able to cruise three totally different cruise lines with totally different experiences.

Calming waters along the river through quaint towns/ villages in the Netherlands and Belgium. Tasting different wines and cheeses in Gouda to visiting windmills that are still on operation. A river cruise is a slower pace and immersion into the country that you are touring.

Then I went on the adult only cruise that parties all night long. The excursions are not the typical cruise excursions. Be ready to make a sustainable impact on this cruise line. And think out of the box of what you think a cruise line should be because this one is far from it.

Lastly was the biggest weekend to the Bahamas. This ship has so much to do for the whole family... children, parents and grandparents. Not just a Broadway and comedy show but be ready for figure ice skating, water show and more. You might not want to get off the ship when you get to port.

Actually I'm not. This week is a new adventure on the newest ship of the !! The World's Biggest Weekend sailing from Port Canaveral to Nassau and Perfect Day at CocoCay.
I've been to Nassau several times on other cruises but I am looking forward to CocoCay. It's been over 5 years since I've been there, so much has changed. From the pictures, it's MASSIVE!!!

I've been back shore-side for a full week and I miss that ship!!!!
Look how happy I was up there on The Runway (signature red running track). No, I didn't do any running...just a photo-op. This was after the private event for First Mates (travel advisors) with Sir Richard...yes that Sir Richard (swipe).
I told you it was a celebration voyage, right? celebrated 30 years and and I celebrated 40 years!!!

I'm ready to see what 40 will bring!!!!

A day at Bimini Beach Club is what the doctor ordered. The seven mile beach includes shopping, lounging, food and more. A beach party and wading in the ocean can't get any better.

Since the club is part of , you can use your bar tab to purchase the perfect cocktail.

Make sure you apply plenty sunscreen.... it'll be hard to pull yourself out of the water to relax in the cabanas available to reserve.

Ahoy!!! I've finally been able to sit down and post a picture from my cruise. Our first stop was to Puerto Plata (Silver Port) in Dominican Republic.
I did participate in an culture focused excursion and will give a recap upon my return.
The weather was perfect and the company was great.
Before getting back on the ship, I wanted to capture a picture of the in the background. Isn't she a beauty?!?

Touching down in Miami to embark on the Valiant Lady tomorrow. I am over the top excited to bring in this milestone birthday on this ADULT ONLY cruise!!!!
Not only am I celebrating a milestone, so is Virgin Voyages and special guests will be on board with us. Hopefully, I can snag a photo to show you.

Before embarking, we'll be staying a night in Miami. If you don't already do this...take this as a Thursday Travel Tip...arrive a day early. You never know what kind of incidents might happen the day of that can cause you to miss your cruise.

This is my first true vacation of the year and it is well overdue.

All eyes are still on Paris, right?
Stop looking ahead to LA Olympics 2028 and stay with me a little while longer as I talk about a trip to France in 2026.

Yep, you guessed it, a river cruise. But not any kind of river cruise, one focused and curated around black history and culture. When started this experience it grabbed my attention. And after experiencing my first river cruise in March, it is something I want to try again.

I'll talk more about it during my virtual cruise nights but if can't wait until Oct for that, please reach out now. Share this with a friend that's thought of traveling to France... it'll be a different type of vacation.

Back in March I went to Amsterdam to board my first river cruise. I arrived a day early and walked around the city. Admiring the architecture and savoring the sweet treats, it's a destination I wouldn't mind traveling to again. I'll make sure I'm there later in March so I can experience the tulips. They weren't quite ready when I was there.

Don't mind me as I reminisce about this trip.

A new client reached out to me for a family trip to Arizona. She was hesitant because she thought I only handled "big" trips. No, I can help with all trips... especially if it's going to create a memory.

Staying at this luxury hotel in AZ with several pools (you're going to need it), water slides for their son and also an opportunity to relax with other adults, is just what ordered.
