🚨LIGHTNING LANE/GENIE+ BREAKING NEWS🚨

Ever since Fastpass+ was booted after the parks shut down in 2020, you have not been able to to book any rides in advance with the Genie+ Service or the Individual Lightning Lane Service… well Disney just dropped something that is going to CHANGE THE GAME!!! And I read the article so you don’t have to, here is what you need to know….

✨Disney Genie+ will now be called Lightning Lane Multi Pass.

✨Individual Lightning Lanes will be called Lightning Lane Single Pass.

✨You will now be able to purchase all of your Lightning Lane Passes 7 Days in advance if you are staying on property (and select affiliate hotels). If you are staying off property you can book 3 days in advance.

✨You can purchase Lightning Lane packages for your ENTIRE vacation all in the same day!

✨Up to THREE Lightning Lanes can be booked with the Lighting Lane Multi Pass per day.

✨Lightning Lane Single Passes will work very similar to how Individual Lightning Lanes work currently, with different times to choose from throughout the day.

✨Once you use your first pre-booked Lightning Lane you’ll be able to book another Lightning Lane when you have the Multi Pass.

✨These changes will be effective July 24th!!

More details are sure to come in the future, but this can be really great!! Planning around dining reservations and sleeping in a little longer on your Disney Vacation just got THAT much easier!!

⚡️Let’s talk Universal, more specifically, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter!

🪄Even if you are not a fan of Harry Potter, there is no denying this is one of the most emersive areas in any theme park that exists. Before I even watched the movies or read the books this was my favorite part of both theme parks!

🇬🇧Universal Studios hosts Diagon Alley where you can get lots of shopping done, go on an adventure under Gringotts Wizarding Bank, visit the Leaky Cauldron and maybe even see a dragon breathe fire🔥

🧹Islands of Adventure is home to Hogsmeade where you can visit The Three Broomsticks for a ButterBeer, fly through Hogwarts castle, spot magical beasts🦄 with Hagrid in the Forbbiden Forrest, and so much more!

🚂Hogwarts Express connects the two lands and gives you a unique ride each way! Since it connects the two theme parks, you’ll need a 2-Park pass to visist platform 9 3/4

🍺In the Wizarding World you get get the same treats that you see in the movies & books like Chocolate Frogs, Butterbeer, Pumpkin Juice, Candies, Cupcakes and more!

📍Today we’re taking it to EPCOT at the Norway Pavilion.

🥥School Bread is one of the more popular snacks around the Disney Parks, and how could it not be? A Sweet Roll filled with Custard dipped in toasted coconut is going to be popular especially if you do it like Norway does!

Its Snack Sunday😋
This week I’m coming at you from Universal Orlando, Universal Studios for this chilly desert❄️

📍This is the Butterbeer soft serve ice cream at Florean Fortescue’s Ice Cream Parlour, located in Diagon Alley!

🍦This is probably my favorite ice cream in the world and I make sure to stop every time, it’s a base of vanilla with blends of butterscotch and carmel. It’s also not too overly sweet so you’ll be able to hop onto Escape from Gringotts without a stomach-ache.

🪄If you’re a Harry Potter fan (or just an ice cream fan) this place is a must do. With over 20 different flavors theres something for everyone!

🇳🇴 If you’re looking for a place to stop and get a drink on your trip around the world (the EPCOT one of course) I’ve got the perfect drink for you!!

🌸This is the Troll Krem, which is a frozen blend of Cranberry and Vanilla topped with Dragonfruit Rum. After a while it does get a little sweet, but it’s a great time (and excuse) to grab a salty snack… for science of course..

Snack Sunday timee!!!

These are the French Fries with Pulled Pork and Cheese from Flame Tree Barbecue🍟

🍽️I know you’re probably thinking Nadine, that looks like a meal not a snack, but since this is considered a side this counts as a snack for the dining plan!

📍Flame Tree Barbecue is located in Animal Kingdom on Discovery Island just across from the entrance to its Tough to be a Bug!🐜

🧀This cheesy side dish is very filling and can easily be a meal in itself, or a shareable snack with the group. It is a bit messy so getting a seat is the best way to enjoy this one. You may even get to see some wildlife while you eat!🦆

Snack Saturday!!😋
This one is a new one for me and I absolutely devoured it!

🧀These are the Mac & Cheese Bites from 🧺The Basket at Wine Bar George! The Basket is a small walk up window serving up some of the offerings of the attached sit down restaurant, Wine Bar George!🍷It’s a great way to try some of the food without having a full sit down meal.

🍅Normally I’m not a huge marinara sauce fan, sometimes I even scrape the sauce off my pizza if its too much. As you can imagine then, when I first got them I was a little hesitant. However… I was debating licking the paper bowl (and I did… just a little bit🤤) These bites were crispy and light, not like the plastic cheese you get in normal mac and cheese bites. These fall apart and melt in your mouth!

📍Located in Disney Springs just literally steps away from Gideon’s Bakehouse, it’s a great place to grab a snack while waiting in line for cookies!🍪

GARDEN GRILL REVIEW!💚

This was the first time I’ve ever eaten at Garden Grill and it definitely lived up to the hype! We had breakfast and the morning did not start off great since it was POURING down rain ☔️ and the wind was blowing our ponchos off, so at 8:45am we were already squishing in our shoes.

Luckily for us, we had plenty of time to dry off and eat some delicious food😋

👩🏼‍🌾Garden Grill is located in The Land Pavilion which is the building that houses Soarin Around the World.

🛶Fun fact about this resort: it SPINS!! Now you can’t really feel it unless you think about it and look at the wall, but you get to see different scenes of the Living with the Land ride thats just downstairs! There really isn’t a bad seat in the house!

🍞Firstly they bring out bread that is warm and soft, to the point that we demolished it before I could snap a pic!

Oh and also… they have POG JUICE!!!!🍊For those of you who don’t know POG stands for Passionfruit, Orange and Guava and it is the most delicous juice (and I’m not a big juice person). If its offered to you, you take it. They even have POG Juice mimosas🍾 if you want to start your drinking around the world in the Land Pavillion⛰️

🍴Back to the skillet, Garden Grill is a family style restaurant so you get a skillet full and can ask for seconds, thirds and fourths of whatever you’d like (unlimited Mickey Waffles people!!!🧇)

🍳The scrambled eggs are my personal favorite style where they’re almost crumbly but still very moist. 🥓The steak was cooked very well however if you like well done this may be too pink for you, but the bacon was nice and crispy!

🥔As far as the potatoes, the first round was amazing since I like the potatoes in my cheesy potato casserole to be baked to be very soft.
The second round was more crunchy than the the first, but overall a pleasant surprise!

🚫Since I do have a nut allergy they did give me an allergy menu to look over but luckily there was no tree nuts in any of the regular food.

🍽️EPCOT has a ton of places to eat and I feel like this area of the park can get overshadowed by World Showcase, but this is a great place to start your day with a filling meal to get you ready to start your trip around the world!🌎

Today we’re taking a look at the Lunchbox Tarts from Woody’s Lunchbox!🥪These tarts come in many flavors, mostly seasonal and rotating, but there are some that are constant. Specifically, the raspberry flavor that is pictured above!❤️

The Lemon Blueberry🍋🫐 is my personal favorite. This is a snack that you can easily take with you on the go, or take home and enjoy later!

Its Snack Sundayyy💙❤️🤍

This is The American Dream🇺🇸which is Cherry Slushy, Vanilla Soft Serve & Blue Raspberry Slushy sandwiched together to look like the American Flag!🍦

Eventually it does turn purple🟣when you mix it up, but it still tastes great, and makes a good photo opp when you first get it! This treat is especially great for those hot Florida days☀️

📍Fife and Drum Tavern is a kiosk that sits just inside the American Pavilion in EPCOT’s World Showcase. They also sell the basic park snacks like Mickey Pretzels, Popcorn and Turkey Legs!

Happy Friday!!🧡

We’re so close to 8pm sunsets🌅 which is what this drink reminds me of🤩 This is the Ngumu Jungle Juice which is an alcoholic cocktail that is made with Vodka, Peach Schnapps and Tusker’s famous Jungle Juice!!

📍You can find this delicious drink at Dawa Bar inside Animal Kingdom🦁Dawa Bar is attached to the outside of the Full Service Character Restaurant, Tusker House (which is where you can get some EXQUISITE mac & cheese). It is located in the Africa section of the park, just outside of Kilimanjaro Safaris🐘 swipe to see it on the map!

Of all the bars and lounges in the parks, I think Dawa Bar is one of the ones talked about the least, so I’m here to shed some light!🍹This drink alone had us coming back the second we finished it, and I’m not one to get something more than once in a trip since there are SO many things to try. This however, has me super excited to go back to Animal Kingdom!✨
