2 Rivers Cottage is located on a peaceful canal where the Halls River and the Homosassa River meet. From the back yard you can enjoy the natural view into property owned by the Saint Martin's Marsh Aquatic Preserve.

Conveniently located and close to everything, this tastefully decorated and updated waterfront, 2 bedroom / 2 bath cottage is ready for you to enjoy. Our canal is wide enough for you

to dock and leave your boat in the water. If you do bring your boat please know that the Halls River bridge is a low bridge. Boats with no top or canvas tops that can lower are fine however hard tops will most likely not be able to clear. Enjoy the amenities the house offers. Including: Central Air Conditioning / Washer and Dryer / Linens Provided / Off Street Parking / Parking for Boat/Trailer. Beds: 1 Queen Bed (Master), 1 Full (2nd BR), 2 twins (day bed in den), and pullout Queen sofa provides bed space for 8. Entertainment: Cable TV and Wi-Fi internet. Fully equipped Kitchen / Cooking Utensils Provided / Refrigerator / Microwave. Outdoor Features: BBQ Grill / Paver Deck / Canal front / Dock / Boat House. Other Amenities: Large sun-room overlooking canal and kayaks provided for paddling the backwaters and enjoying the manatees and abundant wildlife of Florida's famous Nature Coast.

All is good so far. The storm surge from Michael brought the water level out of the canal and covered the paver pad in the back yard but the Homosassa flooding has not crossed the road. Ounce we are past the 8a high tide then we will be confident that we are good to go.

Thank you for the warm wishes, thoughts, and prayers. Please keep our friends in the panhandle, GA, & the Carolinas in your prayers as they deal with the impact of the storm.

Scallop season has begun. Good luck to everyone that is going. Be safe and have fun. We were out yesterday with some friends and our sons took a group out today. Had boat limits both days. Weather today was beautiful. We love this place,

to our 2RC friends I happy to share that the home weathered the storm with no damage or flooding according to Mr. Murray. My family will be up there this weekend to clean up some limbs, get things opened back up, and do a little scalloping (since we are there anyway). Thank you again for your thoughts and prayers over the past few days and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

Launch yourself from the backyard into a tranquil canal that exits at the junction of the Halls and Homosassa rivers. Paddle up the Halls to see old Florida or paddle into the Homosassa to visit the springs or visit Monkey Island.
