Harris Family Reunion The vacation home where the reunion will be held, has been made available by Sharon and Ralph Staley. This is where we were last year as well.

The Harris Family Reunion has been a yearly adventurer for over 75 years, held in various places all over Oregon and Washington on the weekend of the second Sunday in August. It is not far from Sandy, Ore. DIRECTIONS: Turn right just past mile post 37 on Highway 26, and keep going straight on Country Club Road. It splits after about half a mile. Take the right hand lane which is Country Club Lane.

The green house is on the left hand side of the road. The house will be open from Thursday noon until Monday morning. Anyone is welcome to come at any time during those days. RECREATION: If there is enough interest the group will go by bus up to Timberline Lodge on Friday. There is an Alpine Slide that Kathy and Abby Marson (decendents of Florence Harris) plan to enjoy, hope some more will join in. Sharon's phone number is: 503-970-4897. SCRAPBOOK: Sharon will bring her computer and printer scanner for old photos. There will be materials for creating a yearly scrapbook of current families. You might want to bring:
Photo albums and old photos that can be scanned and put onto a CD
Flash drives that pictures can be downloaded onto. Photos and or dates for past reunions
Scrapbooking supplies to be used in a Harris Family reunion Scrapbook. Pictures you would be willing to donate to create your familoy page in a harris reunion scrapbook. Folding chairs for use on the decks. Extra clothes for playing in the creek.

The 86th annual Harris Family Reunion!

To all of my extended family - yes we have plans for the reunion this year.
I have booked a vacation home in Portland for the second weekend in August- 8/13/21- 8/16/21.

Check in time is 4:00 pm on Friday August 13, and check out time is 11:00 am on Monday August 16.

The main events will be on Saturday August 14, and Sunday August 15.
We will have a “ Potluck “ dinner at around 1:30 pm on Saturday, and on Sunday, have our “auction “ and business meeting. The rest of the time is for socializing, game playing, old picture sharing , and new picture taking.

The home sleeps 20, however many of us will be coming just during the day, so there should be plenty of beds available.

Voluntary donations will be accepted for overnight stays- as well as for day use.

There are 3 bedrooms on the main floor. We will reserve those for our older members.

Parking is described as “ Plenty “, but please consider sharing rides as it is no doubt limited somewhat. The home is in a “Quiet “ neighborhood at the end of the street.

This location is also pet friendly .

I am hoping that this setting will be easier on our older family members than it would be in a park.
