We wrapped up our very first leather sheath making class last night! These classes are being taught by Doug Cline. Check out the website www.theblacksmithexperience.com or www.forgingadifference.com for more information. Currently, we have four more leather sheath making classes available on Thursday nights from 6:00 p.m. to around 9:00. In about 3 hours, you will learn to hand make your own leather sheath! Spots are limited, and cost per person is $65.

Saturday, February 22nd, 2025, 4th annual Knife-Making Grudge Match at the USS ALABAMA Battleship Memorial Park, 9am to 3pm! The event features former contestants from the History Channel TV show, Forged in Fire! The event helps to raise funds for the non-profit, Forging A Difference. Forging A Difference uses Blacksmithing and Knife-making to serve those who serve.

Come and have a chance to win one of the blades being made this year!

Walter Sorrells from Walter Sorrells Blades will be this year's MC at the event! Come and have an opportunity to meet an amazing knife-making legend!

It took a while to fit this project into my schedule, but recently just wrapped up with forging 5 fireplace tool sets. I was really pleased with the way they came out! Took me a lot more hours than I originally anticipated, but that is pretty typical of commissioned work!

It was an honor to work with the Exceptional Foundation Gulf Coast again this year for their annual fundraising event.

This year we made a wall hanger with some hand forged nails. Then welded them into the shape of a cross.

Working with this group always brings me so much joy! Looking forward to the possibility of doing it again next year.
