The Tremont Hotel in Galveston is just beautiful and only 2 blocks from the cruise port. Live music in the lobby every night and a 12 noon check out. There are lots of pretty shops nearby....not to mention, good restaurants.

We're in Cancun at The "adults only" Iberostar Grande Hotel. What a treat! We were supposed to be at Iberostar Maya which is on the property and more of a family hotel but we were upgraded. If you need a get-away, this is the place for you. Iberostar is a wonderful hotel chain. Service is fantastic. Food is great! You can't go wrong with an Iberostar!!!

I am currently in Cancun, Mexico enjoying the last day of a wonderful stay at the Blue Diamond Resort on Riviera Maya. The service is amazing and the food fantastic. There are no buffets, no noisy pool music and activities...just peace and quiet and an occasional crocodile. It's back to reality tomorrow.
