I imagine you too are feeling the stresses of the current state of affairs. But regardless of difficulties, there are also many reasons to be hopeful.

The travel industry is one of the hardest hit by the measures enacted to combat the pandemic outbreak, and yes, it's horrifying. Yet travel is also about weathering the unknown, embracing it, and growing through it, isn't it?

At WTE, Inc., we keep ourselves abreast of the world's developments, but we are also deliberately looking for experiences that bring joy. Every single day. Today I came across this rendering of one of my favorite Cuban songs that most of you will recognize. Performed by artists from around the globe, it brought back lots of memories, and yes, even tears. I don't know how about you, but the soul of Cuban rhythms always brings inspiration and vitality into my days. So while it is true that we're living in difficult times, there are diamonds that are being made, because of it. Enjoy!

This is a very insightful report into how Cuba is dealing with the hurricane, and not only this one. Distributing food and emergency supplies ahead of time into areas that are likely to get hit by the hurricane? How revolutionary! :-) Amy and Juan also discuss other Cuba issues, like the recent policy change on traveling there. A very interesting read.
