Altus Crashpads have 15 fully-furnished homes to rent by the room if you are TDY to Altus AFB, OK. KC-135, C-17, and KC-46 personnel are all welcome!

If you are enroute to Altus for KC-135, C-17, or KC-46 training, we look forward to serving you. We currently have 6 beautiful, FULLY-furnished homes that you will be sure to appreciate. We are a family-owned business providing 3 and 4-bedroom homes for rent-by-the-room as alternative lodging to on-base billeting or hotel room. In addition, we offer 1 TDY Family Home for rent for those that want t

o bring their families and pets to Altus. A comfortable home, flexible lease options, and people that care…that’s what Altus Crash Pads is all about! While TDY to Altus AFB, you DO NOT have to stay on base or in a hotel recommended by billeting per the Joint Federal Travel Regulation. CONTACT US for further details if you are concerned about being reimbursed. An official invoice will be given at time of payment.

Who is going??

𝑀𝑂𝑂-𝑣𝑒 𝑜𝑣𝑒𝑟🐂🐂🐂🐎 The 26th Annual Base Cattle Drive is finally here!

𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟭𝟬 𝗮.𝗺. 𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄, Airmen can line the streets to watch as 30+ longhorns and horses make their way through the base.

The Cattle Drive will start and end at the soccer fields and will make stops at the static display by Building 87 and the Youth Center.

Please be advised that this event will impact traffic through the main gate and roads as shown on the route map below from approximately 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Congratulations to the 58th!

✈️🎉 Big congratulations to the 58th Airlift Squadron for being honored as the Top Operations Squadron for Mobility/Special Operations for 2023 by the Air Education & Training Command! 🎉✈️

Lt. Col. Peter Bulinski, 58th Airlift Squadron commander, shares why this award is a significant achievement.

“I was ecstatic to find out that the 58th was recognized for all the tremendous work we did throughout the year. On top of graduating over 1,000 C-17 Globemaster III aircrew, we reinstated the C-17 Demonstration Team, participated in Mobility Guardian, developed medics through Caduceus Spear exercises, and deployed a Patriot Battalion from Ft. Sill,” said Bulinski. “We also conducted 10 Joint Training/Air Transportability Training exercises, developing our aircrew as well as Army Airborne and Navy Leapfrog personnel, and graduated 25 members from seven professional development courses. It truly was an incredible year that wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work and dedication of every member of the squadron.”
