Thunder Burgerz Grill on Smokey Park Highway even features decor related to Robert Mitchum's 1958 classic film, "Thunder Road", filmed right here in town.

Due to the destruction left by Hurricane Helene across the region, and in respect of the many men and women engaged in cleanup and rebuilding efforts, we will be closing the AVL Lit Tour season early, effective immediately. We apologize for any inconvenience.
