There’s Ronda—a charming town split by a dramatic gorge, giving it views that take your breath away—and the medieval charm of Valencia. Once you’ve had a Greek salad in Greece, it’s hard to accept anything less. There’s something unforgettable about the burst of fresh, sweet tomatoes here—and for me, the very best Greek Salad is found at Ergon in Athens. 😍

Lucky for me, Athens Airport has a full-service Ergon, so I got to savor one last perfect salad and a metrio Freddo Cappuccino before boarding the plane. 🌞 Until next year, Greece… you’ll be missed!

Day 8 of our small group Greece trip was a favorite for everyone—sailing the Mediterranean aboard a private yacht in Naxos! 🌊 Our captain, Nicholas, and first mate, Sildi, took such good care of us, bringing us to the most amazing spots for swimming, snorkeling, and relaxing. We were pampered with delicious food and drinks all day long, and the water was an unbelievable shade of blue—so uniquely Greek! 💙 I even snuck in a nap on the net, which was such a lovely surprise. It was a day filled with fun, relaxation, and unforgettable memories. Can’t wait to do it all again next year! 🛥️☀️

Day 6 of our Greek adventure was truly one of the best! 🤩 We spent the day with a local chef and his wife for a hands-on cooking lesson 🍳, learning the secrets of Mediterranean gastronomy and the art of healthy living 🌿. It was an absolute blast, and every course we prepared was paired with the perfect wine 🍷. Food has this incredible way of bringing people together and connecting us to a country in such a personal way. That's why my small group trips always include a cooking class—because it's an experience that stays with you!

Marie even mastered cracking an egg with one hand 🥚👏, and we all learned the sweet Greek chef tradition of sending kisses 💋 to our sauces as we stirred! A perfect day from start to finish.

Today was all about diving deep into Greek history on Day 5 of our adventure! Mycenae’s towering Cyclopean Walls 🧱 and the grandeur of the Lion’s Gate 🦁 left us in awe 😮, while the tales of the Royal Tombs ⚱️ sparked our imaginations. We then journeyed to Epidaurus 🎭 to see its ancient theater—still in use after thousands of years! It was an unforgettable day 🌟, filled with stories and legends that brought Greece’s past to life.

Day 4 was all about exploring the Peloponnese region! We left the bustling city of Athens and made our first stop at the Corinth Canal, where the Aegean and Ionian seas meet. 🌊

But the real highlight of the day was our visit to Oleosophia, an incredible olive oil farm run by the passionate Mariana and George. 🌿🫒 We strolled through their olive groves, learned about their hand-crafted production process (to ensure the olives aren’t injured), and participated in an unforgettable blind olive oil tasting! The care and dedication they put into their work gave us a whole new appreciation for quality olive oil. It was such a unique and inspiring experience.

The evening of Day 3 was a foodie’s dream come true! We had an amazing food and drinks tour in Athens with Katerina—hands down the best tour guide in the city.

We started with traditional Greek coffee and baklava, followed by a honey tasting at Melira, a family-owned business since 1935 (yes, I stocked up on my favorite honey! 🐝🍯). Then we enjoyed a delicious charcuterie board at a family-run deli and savored some of the best gyros in town (even a vegetarian one for me!). We wrapped up the night with loukoumades drizzled in honey and chocolate, plus a tasting of Greek liquors. 🍽️✨

Day 3 of our Greece adventure started with a Greek dance lesson that was an absolute blast! We visited a theater company in Athens, where an expert instructor taught us some of Greece's most iconic dances, including the Sirtaki and Kalamatianos. 💃🎶

Day 2 in Athens was a memorable one! We had the privilege of exploring the iconic Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum with a private guide. Did you know the Parthenon was once a temple dedicated to the goddess Athena and has stood for nearly 2,500 years? It's one of the things I love about Greece -- it's full of rich history.

After soaking in the ancient wonders, we enjoyed a delicious lunch at Ergon Agora—one of the best spots in Athens! The food was absolutely amazing. 😋

The afternoon was all about personal time, giving everyone the freedom to explore the city or relax. It was a perfect balance between group fun and time for ourselves. Despite daily adventures, there was always room for relaxation and discovery. What a day! 💙🇬🇷

Back from an unforgettable adventure in Greece! 🌿✨ Chet and I had the pleasure of hosting our 2024 Small Group Trip, exploring Athens, Nafplio, and the stunning island of Naxos over 10 incredible days.

We kicked off the journey with a welcome dinner at Elysium Rooftop, where the views of the Acropolis were just as magical as the company. Amazing food, new friendships, and so much excitement for what was to come. 💫🍽️

Feeling grateful for these moments of connection and discovery in one of my favorite places. More highlights to come! 💙🇬🇷

🌞 First Full Day in Astypalaia 🌞

Woke up to the most gorgeous bright sun and perfect warm temps – just the way island mornings should be! ☀️💙

Spent the entire day sailing across sparkling waters, with stops at Koutsomitis Beach, Kounoupa, and Red Rock where Chet was able to explore the caves (I stayed on the boat)! 🛥️💦✨ The views, the serenity, the adventure… pure magic. 🌊⛵️

Wrapped up the day at Athelas cocktail bar 🍸 in the heart of the Chora. The square truly comes alive at night—vibrant energy, music, laughter, and the tasty cocktails under the stars. 🌟💃🌿

Looking forward to tomorrow's island adventures! Hiking up to the castle is on our list of "to-do's"
