Stevens Auction Company is pleased to announce our commission to offer at public auction the contents of various Southern estates from multiple states. These locations include Salem, Missouri, St. Louis, Missouri, Columbus, Mississippi, Aberdeen, Mississippi, and Decatur, Alabama. These wonderful estates, when brought together, represent hundreds of fine antiques and Southern Finery. Several of the items are a continuation of the estate of my long-time friend and client, Mr. John J. Tune of Salem, Missouri and contain his hand selected items from his beautiful home nestled in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains in the heart of Salem. This auction will feature the bulk of his decade-long collection including makers like R.J. Horner, and Seves along with several other well-known names and furniture makers. Also included in this five hundred lot auction will be the choice of items from Columbus, Mississippi Estate, which also contains some of the nineteenth centuries most well-known furniture makers.

The auction will contain beautiful antiques and many unique items which include handmade Persian rugs, French tapestry, premier artwork from the nineteenth century until today, beautiful antique lighting, mirrors, China, porcelains, lamps, a ntique beds, clocks, statuary, bronze, and hundreds of other pieces to numerous to list. The Open House will be on Friday, November 22, 2024, from 10 AM to 6PM CST. The auction will be on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 10 AM.
