Update: As of right now you only need to show a negative RT-PCR test to enter the Galapagos Islands. No vaccine is required. The local authorities will continue to monitor the situation on the islands and will make any revisions necessary every 15 days.

Requirements under the Galapagos Ministry of Tourism (Mintur Galápagos) state that all international travelers over the age of 16 are required to present proof of a negative COVID-19 test (RT-PCR), plus show proof of the complete COVID-19 vaccine. This will go into effect beginning September 1, 2021. Requirements will be re-evaluated every 15 days by the COE Nacional.

Tourists aged 2 to 16 only need to present a negative RT-PCR test to enter the islands.
