Tubing…it’s a summer heat escape ‘round these parts!

One of the reasons we fell in love with the whole Austin area is there are SO MANY fun outdoor things to do year round.

A quick search online revealed over 20 tubing companies in 7 different areas surrounding Austin!

We thought we’d share A few suggestions if you are planning for a sun-filled day of tubing:

1) sun screen, sunglasses, a hat

2)bring a cooler(or rent one) with LOTS of ice, water, and yummy food and drinks. No glass.

3)place your cellphone in a waterproof bag. Have a plan for where you’ll keep it safe.

4) to keep things more fun bring along some rope or twine to connect your tubes with your friends.

5)waterproof shoes

6)some first aid supplies in a baggie tossed in the cooler.

Because so many were asking how our property handled this most recent ice freeze.

We may win the award for the most fallen branches on our street award.

We hate to lose even one branch so this was a significant loss, one that is shared by a large number of Cedar Park residents.

Texas seems to be having an identity crisis and needs to figure out who it wants to be. The state just can’t handle much more of this…this area of the world wasn’t built for these cold temperatures!
