After a brief hiatus during Covid, the Kings Local Schools Foundation is back and ready to help the staff and students of Kings Local Schools District.

The Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization comprised of parents, alumni, and members of the Kings community. We were established in 2018 with a mission to provide high-quality opportunities, facilities, technology, and experiences to the faculty and students of our district.

We are a volunteer organization dedicated to promoting excellence in education and encouraging classroom innovation by providing grants in academics and the arts to teachers that enhance the education of all students in the Kings Local School District.

The Foundation is in need of volunteers to keep its mission going. We are expanding our board and filling a few empty positions. Positions that need to be filled are:
Treasurer
Fundraising Chair
Grant Coordinator
Social Media Chair
Community Liaison

To date, the Foundation has gifted nearly $9,000 back to our schools and teachers. If you are interested in being a part of the Foundation, please contact Elizabeth Burge at [email protected].

The Board will begin to meet monthly this summer and we are very excited to get things going again. We’ve got some great plans! We just need your help making them happen!

One of our very own Kings Junior High 7th graders, Sofia McLain, is a National finalist in the Doodle for Google contest!!
Can she get your vote?!!
Sofia has won the Doodle 4 Google art contest for the State of Ohio. (Grade 7) She is now in the running to win Nationally!! This would mean a $30,000 college scholarship for Sofia AND a $50,000 Google technology package for her district, Kings Schools!
