It’s always a bit nerve-wracking traveling somewhere new and trying to decide where to stay. A vacation is an investment of not only a significant amount of 💵, but also precious time, and we don’t like to waste either! Our stay at the Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf and Spa Resort was absolutely fantastic! The service, the food, the amenities, and the location were just what we hoped they would be, and we can’t wait to return!

I might be a weirdo for saying this, but besides this view and the absolute luxury of lying under a palapa in what amounts to a king-sized bed in the shade all day, I love the strange familiarity that starts to develop among all of the guests sharing the spaces at a resort like this. You start to recognize the other couples and families and know little stories about their lives. (Thanks to the little girls behind us yesterday for reminding me of how funny Junie B. Jones books are!) It’s been so long since we’ve been around people outside our own little pods, and I’m so thankful that the gift of travel is starting to open up again!
