“When we first opened people would say to me, ‘Oh, you must be the brewer’s wife,’” said Braddock, who founded the brewery in 2016 with her husband, Benjamin Braddock. “Never has anyone assumed I am the owner. People are taken aback when they find out.”
They are collaborating to create a limited edition beer to be released March 5. A portion of proceeds will be donated to The CT Pink Boots Society Scholarship for Women in Brewing, to support women enrolling in the Brewing Science Certificate Program at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield. 🍻
Three female Connecticut brewers are getting together to create a specialty, limited-time beer to raise money for a scholarship to help train more women to enter the beer industry.
