↟ Because our in-house team is teeny-tiny, this means we have to push pause on a few things during baby's first weeks.
↟ We'll be temporarily pushing pause on discovery calls & tours from March until _______ (date tbd!) as we adjust to life as new parents.

Everyone: Meet Moose! 🐶

Here's a wild story: In early July, the day before we (unexpectedly) found out that our beloved Bernese Mountain Dog Summit was sick & needed to be put down, we met this nugget. Within an hour of meeting him, we decided it was a great time to another dog to our fam.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Little did we know that Summit would be gone in a blink, making the timing of this little guy's appearance even more unbelievable. We miss Summit like crazy, but Moose has been a bright spot during a rough time for our fam. 💛
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
𝗙𝘂𝗻 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁:
Moose has joined 100% of our Cedar One tours since we brought him home in mid July! As if you needed more incentive to come visit us… 😏

All of our cabin kit components are crafted by hand, by real live humans. We source local whenever possible, and we're big fans of all things handcrafted, which means...we are *not* Amazon Prime (and that's by design!). Good things [crafted by hand] take a little extra time: Let's normalize that!

Here are the top 3 things we’ve done to make life smoother as business partners (who also happen to live together):
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1️⃣ Map out your job roles + duties at the beginning (and fine tune them as you go!). Having our designated “zones of genius” allows us to get more done, minimize conflict & confusion, and make decisions quickly. For us: Bailey = Sales & Marketing; Hutch = Operations & Build.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2️⃣ Set clear boundaries and stick to ‘em! Have clear start & end times to your day, and don’t let work talk overtake date night (we’re guilty of this…usually because we’re too damn excited about recent developments 🤣)
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3️⃣ Schedule regular check-ins and have a clear agenda for them. For us, this looks like: A touch-base at the end of every week (lovingly called EOW 🍻) and a quarterly deep dive meeting.
