Bigwoods Horse & Cattle Good Cows and Great Horses! Bigwoods Horse & Cattle is a small (and we do mean small!) farm in Lake Charles, LA.

We believe that big things come in small packages and so our goal is to produce high quality Beefmaster cattle and Arabian horses that work no matter where you take them. It’s why we put “Lil” in the front of every name of every animal we produce. Our small farm parallels a large neighborhood so every animal has to be one that is able to be one you can enjoy safely with your family. Take a look ar

Vaya Con Dios Mr Doug Williamson. The cowhorse community lost a great one today. I know all of our saddles will be riderless someday - it just doesn’t seem right that yours should be empty now. I’m told our Lord and Savior rides a pretty good steed — so I’m thinking He might have an extra just waiting for you.

We lost a good one this week. Went out to feed and found our bull Frank had died. I have to assume the heat somehow because he was looking good when I was giving him some scratches a couple days ago. Besides being an incredible sire for us he was just an incredible animal to be around. They just don’t make them like him often. I don’t know if there is a heaven for happy bulls but if there is, you’ll definitely be there.
