🌊 Ocean Cay was originally an industrial sand excavation site, transformed by MSC into a 64-square-mile marine reserve and private island retreat.
💙 Recognized by oceanographer Dr. Sylvia Earle’s Mission Blue organization, Ocean Cay is designated as a ‘Hope Spot’ for its critical role in marine conservation.
🪸The island is home to the MSC Foundation’s Super Coral Program, a pioneering initiative focused on restoring and protecting resilient coral species to help combat climate change effects.
☀️The island runs on solar energy, strives for zero greenhouse gas emissions, and prohibits single-use plastics to minimize its environmental impact.
🇧🇸 The Bahamian government officially designates the waters around Ocean Cay as a protected marine reserve, preserving its diverse aquatic life.
🏖️With over two miles of white-sand beaches, guests can choose from seven distinct beach areas, each offering a different ambiance and activities.
🌟 Unlike many private islands, Ocean Cay offers nightlife, including stargazing experiences, beach bonfires, and an LED lighthouse light show.
💍 Couples can tie the knot in paradise at Ocean Cay’s beachfront Wedding Pavilion, a dream setting for weddings and vow renewals.
🐟 MSC Cruises is planning to enhance guest facilities, expand the marine research lab, and further develop conservation efforts on Ocean Cay.

🚢✨ Step aboard the Norwegian Pearl with me! I was able to explore and experience this ship today while docked at Port Miami, thanks to my friends at 🌊
Here are a few snapshots from my afternoon on board. Favorite part was definitely the gorgeous Thermal Suite.

🚢 Launched in 2006 – Christened by Rosie O’Donnell, this ship has been sailing for nearly two decades!

🎳 First NCL Ship with a Bowling Alley – A fun twist on cruising entertainment.

🎸 Home to Themed Music Cruises – From KISS Kruises to Parahoy! with Paramore, this ship has rocked the high seas.

🤣 Impractical Jokers has filmed onboard the Pearl and has chartered Jokers cruises multiple times. Season 4’s “Cruisin’ for a Bruisin’” was filmed on the Pearl.

✨ Refreshed & Revamped – Underwent major refurbishments in 2017 and 2021 to keep things modern and stylish.
