Our Health Advocates are the heart of what we do, and their incredible work inspired us to create a monthly Employee Spotlight! Our people truly are the difference. Meet this month’s featured Health Advocate employee, Amber Cavanaugh!

Amber is a Claims Specialist, and she has been with Health Advocate for 7 years. She likes working with her coworkers because they’re team-oriented, friendly, and easy to work with.

Amber is passionate about helping people really understand their healthcare. She says, “In the claims department, the outcome for our members is not always favorable, but they really appreciate the education I provide them with to use for next time, next year, whenever that may be. Healthcare can be hard to understand, and it’s always rewarding to me when I can help someone understand how their healthcare works and what that will look like for them.”

Outside of work, Amber enjoys baking and cooking, especially when she’s joined by her two special assistants—her toddlers!
