Captain Eddy Arenas Bay Charters Capt: Eddy has been fishing the lower Laguna Madre since the early eighties with his dad. Boat of preference is a Shallow Sport 21 with 175 Suzuki.

Originally started fishing fresh water but soon made the transition to salt water out of the

Arroyo Colorado. Capt Eddy has been guiding for 13 + years specializing in wade and drift fishing the pristine salt water flats

of the Lower Laguna Madre utilizing artificial lures being soft plastics and or top waters. Why, when and

where in utilizing certain artificial continue to be a challenge with

changing of times and conditions. Capt Eddy continues to enjoy teaching individuals from artificial do’s and don’ts to conservation. Services provided are wade or drifting fishing trips from Port Mansfield to South Padre being half and full days

combined with full weekend packages targeting trout, reds and flounder all on artificial. The excitement of
