Another fall trip, wrapping up another season in Alaska. Beautiful fall colors, exploring new places by boat and RV, fishing and coming home with halibut and salmon, making new friends and reconnecting with old friends...we can't wait to be back up in the spring!

Jerry and I drove to Alaska this year! The Cassiar Hwy was amazing, and seeing bears was of course incredible! I have a lot of photos to go through, but this one of a grizzly is one of my favorites!

Jerry and I hiked Winner Creek trail, a rain forest in Girdwood! We spent several hours exploring the amazing variety of mushrooms and other fungi. So unique and fun! Just a few photos from this beautiful area! PS, it's an easy 3 mile hike!

It's time for my annual reminder that if you can't go to Katmai to see the bears, you can watch them at Explore.org! They upgraded several of the cameras and they are fantastic! Fall is amazing in Alaska! We shut down our Guest cabin for winter, but our Main house stays open year around for those that want to enjoy a different season other than "fishing season"!

Every year we try to add something to the property the guest will enjoy and add value to their experience. This year we converted our greenhouse to a place to get out of the rain (or away from the famous Alaska mosquitos), to do a puzzle, play a game, or share a meal. We love how it turned out!! We also got a co****le game!
