When you're browsing for your next holiday trip, there are many things you look for to find the perfect match: An amazing location you recently discovered, a great river you crave to paddle, a unique ecolodge you want to check out, a landscape you want to be part of...But, do you ever consider how your ideal travel adventure is going to affect the place you visit?
Right now, it's not hard to determine if a travel agency, ecolodge or tourism company is doing something to "give back" to the region or country they are operating on. So, if you can, always go for the ones that care about local wildlife and culture conservation. That way, you're having an incredible experience and caring for a noble cause.
Our Rivers and Rainforests Adventure in Costa Rica is linked with both conservation and funding for the local community. Check the complete itinerary at: https://soar2adventure.com/product/rivers-rainforests/

Spectacular Mavecure Adventure and Fishing
The Inirida river splits the #jungle in two, while we boat upstream in search for the indigenous villages that keep the balance between tourism, virgin forests and exotic #wildlife. On our Mavecure Fishing Adventures we explore a remote land where time seems to have stopped and ancient indian legends come to life before your eyes.
The Mavecure Hills or "Mountains of Gods" are the remains of the oldest mountains in Latin America. Three giant stones rise between the Inirida River and the Amazon jungle: Pajarito (Little Bird), Mono (Monkey) and Mavicure. Our Mavecure Fishing Adventure is as unique and authentic as it gets, combining #fishing with deep jungle exploration and amazing landscapes.

The territory associated to Rio Claro ́s watershed holds a great diversity of animal species, many of them endemic to the Middle-Magdalena Region (Magdalena Medio). The former implies that these species are exclusively found in this zone, and no other place on the globe. Our estimates suggest that, within the premises of the Natural Reserve, it is possible to spot over 100 species of mammals, 350 species of birds, 70 species of reptiles, 45 species of amphibians, and 50 species of fish, beyond abundant species of insects and invertebrates. #rioclaro #soar2adventure #colombia #wildlife #adventuretravel
Exploration on foot and horseback of the other worldly scenery of the paramo. The paramo is one of the most unique ecological systems in the world. It is where Colombia gets a vast amount of its water supply, as unusual plants suck moisture from the atmosphere and pulls the moisture through its leaves and roots into ground where eventually thewater forms swift creeks and rivers. Lake Otun is one of the amazing landscape highlights of this leg of our trip. Craving more details? On our first day, we will start with a Jeep safari where we’ll explore the striking landscapes of the wax palm, Colombia’s national tree, as we ascend into the cloud forest. While you’re there, you might feel like you suddenly fell into Dr Seuss “The Lorax” due to the similarity between the numerous wax palms trees and the beloved Truffulas from the story. Intrigued? Early this year I participated in a @soar2adventure trip to #Colombia and #Costa Rica. Adventure overload! The trip was well planned, while also providing many unique and exciting experiences. From canoeing down challenging but safely guided whitewater rivers, to floating down wildlife crammed waters – there is no danger of being bored. For me it was particularly thrilling to see not one, but two massive Anaconda at home in their natural environment. Watching working Colombian cowboys, evening trips to experience wildlife nightlife, local food and music all combined to provide memories like no others . Culture, art, food, wildlife, and physical challenge – @soar2adventure surpassed all my expectations. I advise it for anyone seeking adventure beyond the mainstream experience. - Dean Cramer. #adventure #soar2adventure #tripofalifetime #lifechanging #colombia #costarica #anaconda #rivers #soarinflatables
You must be shapeless, formless, like water. When you pour water in a cup, it becomes the cup. When you pour water in a bottle, it becomes the bottle. When you pour water in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Water can drip and it can crash. Become like water my friend. #colombia #bruceleewisdomflow #rivermagic #findyourpath #soar2adventure

"Hey Larry,
I wanted to tell you that after two months, people are still asking to see my pictures from the Colombia trip. I got such fantastic wildlife photos and have such great stories to tell!
I enjoyed all the Colombian people that I met from the bus driver and tour guides to Colombians we met on the road. Colombia is such a fascinating country to explore and now is such an exciting time to be there.
We got to see such a great variety of environments and ecosystems, even though we only saw a small part of the country. I love thli at our days were full and active and we had the opportunity to do so many different things; horseback riding, hiking, boating, cave exploring and fantastic birding! We saw high elevation, savannah and river canyons. I especially loved the boating and the wildlife!
Seeing the anacondas, the anteater and the fantastic birdlife were life highlight moments for me. I hope to come back and see the other things that I didn't see this time, there's so much to explore. Have fun discovering and I can't wait to do another trip with you Larry!"
Hugs,
Franbo

San Vicente Hot Springs in Colombia: One more chapter of the #soar2adventure authentic experiences on the Central Highlands, filled with waterfalls, easy rivers to paddle, wildlife and breathtaking landscapes.
Rio La Vieja, Quindío, Colombia
On this nice, easy river we hired two local guides on their homemade bamboo rafts (the locals call it "balsaje"). Cascada Los Micos was the highlight of this part of the trip. We swam in it's natural pool and standing underneath the waterfall was absolutely relaxing.
