The most famous lion at present in Masai Mara, (Kenya) OLOBOR has left us. Speared to death by cattle herders. He was the leader of the powerful Black Rock Coalition. Unless strict laws are put in place his death will not be the last.
RIP majestic king. Know that you were loved and that we will never forget you.

An elephant digs a small hole and takes a trunk-full of water to quench the thirst in 38°C weather. Although there is a large puddle nearby, resulting from rains some 10 days ago, the water siphoned from the elephant-made hole has been ‘filtered’ through the sand and rocks.

Fascinating to see how far this roller goes and returns to his mate/partner after crossing the continent of Africa twice. Some people aren’t able to go to work and return home without straying….

Dal 2020 monitoriamo questa ghiandaia marina tramite GPS e ogni anno compie lo stesso viaggio di 8000km per andare a passare l’inverno nel sud dell’Africa tra il Botswana e lo Zimbabwe. In primavera, dopo 2 mesi e mezzo di viaggio, torna allo stesso nido e si riunisce con la compagna che non vedeva da 8 mesi.
In giallo il tracciato 2020-21, in rosso 2021-22.

While this is a more appropriate sentence to hand down for the egregious acts, I’m disappointed that the whole cabal of players in that abominable scheme were similarly not locked away from society for many, many years.
