Janet with Wishdrawals Disney Travel Planning My name is Janet Marmillion and two of my passions are Disney and traveling with my family. My entire career has revolved around travel.
(1)

I’ve loved Disney since I first visited Disneyland when I was six years old and now it’s a joy to see my two boys enthralled with the magic of Disney. My family was fortunate to spend three and a half years living in Germany. While living overseas, we took every opportunity to travel so my husband and I became well versed in traveling with young children in all types of environments and accommodat

ions (from cruising to backpacking). We also took that opportunity to experience all the wonderful rides and atmosphere Disney Paris has to offer. In addition to my love for the Disney parks, I am also an avid cruiser. I worked for Holland America Line for six years where I became well acquainted with all things cruise related. I’ve sailed to Alaska, the Caribbean, the Mediterranean and also the Baltic. I have the tips and tricks to help make a Disney Cruise vacation perfect for your family. After working at Holland America Line, I worked for a luxury travel company and learned a great deal about making family vacation desires a reality. It would be my pleasure, and privilege, to help make your family’s Disney vacation a truly memorable experience.

Instead of a Christmas tree lane where you can walk through all the trees in one location, this year at Disney Springs the trees are spread throughout the area. Now you can see the trees while you shop, stroll, and browse. Just as in years past, each tree is themed to a popular Disney character, attraction, or story.

Use this map to see where the twelve trees are located.

Here are answers to several questions we've received regarding Universal Studios Orlando opening.

A couple of questions we’re getting regarding policies at Universal:

• Is a reservation required in order to visit the theme parks beginning June 5? No, a reservation is not needed in order to visit the theme parks BUT attendance is limited so if park has reached capacity when you arrive, you may not be admitted.

• Will all rides and attractions be open? The majority of the attractions and experiences within the parks are scheduled to open.

• Will I have to wear a mask? Yes. If you have a disability that prevents you from wearing a face covering, you will see guest services to discuss options. Face coverings will available for purchase; children under the age of two are not required to wear facial coverings.

• Will I have to wear my face covering while on the attractions? Yes, EXCEPT for wet rides and Volcano Bay’s slides and pools.

Please let us know what other questions you may have!

Universal Studios Orlando is set to open June 5th!
New health and safety procedures will be in place - see below for additional details.

If you're considering a trip to Universal Studios sometime this year or in 2021, please contact me and I'll help plan a fantastic vacation!

It’s official—Universal Studios Orlando will be opening to the public on June 5!

June 1-2, team members will be in the parks preparing for visitors . A limited number of guests will be invited to visit on June 3-4, and the public opening will be on June 5 with limited attendance.

The new health, safety and hygiene procedures are in place for both team members and guests:

- Guests and team members are required to wear face coverings and observe social distancing guidelines

- Everyone required to have temperature checks before coming on-site; those with temperatures of 100.4 or greater will not be allowed to enter

- Reduced daily park attendance. Park hours 9am-6pm for Universal and Islands of Adventure; 10am-5pm for Volcano Bay.

- Reduced attraction ridership, show attendance and restaurant seating. Some areas and events may remain closed for now.

- Increased cleaning and disinfection of food locations, ride vehicles, restrooms and other frequent “touch points

- Social distancing practices at all locations through the parks, within attractions and queues and at restaurants

- Use of virtual lines at select attractions

- Cashless payments and “no touch” policies where possible. Guests are strongly encouraged to download and use the app for food mobile ordering, virtual lines, and more.

Hand sanitizer must be used prior to boarding ride vehicles. Staggered seating on rides and social distancing in lines will be enforced and may cause longer waits.

Universal’s resort hotels are NOT opening at this time.

NOTE: We do not have any information regarding Disney World yet! Any “information” out there are rumors and conjecture! We’ll post when we have something official.

In an effort to keep all of you as informed as possible, this is the latest update we have regarding Disney World and Disneyland closures. While both were hoping to reopen on April 1, the current situation with COVID-19 does not appear to be clear enough for vacations to resume.

Both parks will remain closed until they announce otherwise. At this time, this is all the information we have. Please be patient; we are hoping for additional details in the next few days. If you need to reschedule your upcoming trip, please reach out to your travel planner and know that we will help in any way we can.

Everyone stay safe and well out there.

These uncertain times have been hard on everyone. We have worked hard to build this business over the last 7 years. We are so proud of the thousands of vacations we have planned and thankful to all of you who have supported us and allowed us to plan the magic in your vacations.

When you book with us, you get to talk with us directly when something goes wrong. We are your advocate to work with the travel suppliers, so you don’t have to sit on hold. Do you want your vacation in the hands of someone who sells bulk toilet paper and tires and offers discounts on the side? You want someone who is dedicated to YOU which is what we offer.

When it's time to travel again, please think about how you book travel and consider supporting a small business. Please, please use a small business travel agency. We'd love for it to be us, but if not, please support another travel agency. Remember that it does not cost more to use a travel agent than to book on your own!

Our travel planners are independent contractors who are paid on commission. We have no salary and no benefits. Travel agents get paid by travel suppliers after clients travel. That means that sometimes we do months of work to help clients plan vacations for no pay. The pay comes only after the vacation takes place. The cancellations we're doing right now mean that we worked without pay.

Wishdrawals travel planners are working around-the-clock, evenings and weekends to assist with reschedules or even cancel trips. We do this because YOUR trip is important to us. You are important to us.

To our existing clients and friends, thank you so much for your support! It means everything to us, and we can't wait to plan your next family vacation or getaway!

Facebook friends and clients: We know that many of you have been reaching out for more information about your coming travel plans and how they are impacted by COVID-19. Our mission at Wishdrawals is to be an advocate and help support our clients in the best way possible. The health and well-being of our clients is our main priority. To minimize disruptions and follow the necessary precautions, we are paying close attention to updates from our suppliers, vendors, trade organizations, the CDC, State Department, and WHO.
