As of the last night's count, there were five Lucifer Hummingbirds - four males and a female - at the Mary Jo Ballator Nature Sanctuary (formerly Ash Canyon B&B). There are also:

Anna's Hummingbird
Black-chinned Hummingbird
Broad-billed Hummingbird
Broad-tailed Hummingbird
Rivoli Hummingbird
Rufous Hummingbird
Violet-crowned Hummingbird
and others that are as yet unconfirmed visiting the yard.

If you are in the Sierra Vista \ Hereford AZ area it is worth it to stop by.

We put in a new waterfall feature this weekend. The birds are starting to get used to it. The first bird on the water - Brown-headed Cowbird. Oh well...

Lewis's Woodpecker is still the star of the yard. All three Oriole species still around. We had a Western Tanager stop by yesterday.
