💦📸🤣 I can just about guarantee three things will happen if you take kids into Toon Lagoon to experience all THE FUN it has to offer.

🗞️Comic strips might be a thing of the past, but they are very much present in this area of yesteryear at Universal’s Islands of Adventure. Popeye, Olive Oil, Hagar, Marmaduke, Beetle Bailey and so many of our parents’ and grandparents’ favorites from the “funnies” are celebrated in various attractions, photos ops, shops and eateries.

😰🏰 Nobody wishes things worked exactly the same at Disneyland as they do at Walt Disney World more than me, your friendly travel advisor. But the truth is, while there are a lot of similarities between the two destinations, not knowing or understanding the significant differences can quickly lead to frustration and put a damper on the magic. For example, while Walt Disney World has removed park pass reservations for most, Disneyland still requires them for all visitors. And while you can use MagicBands for a bunch at Disneyland, they won’t open your resort room door. 😵‍💫

I ABSOLUTELY sweat the small stuff.

That is when it comes to our clients’ trips.

Your week before travel checklist: Family edition

Save this for later! 📌

✅ Make special requests ahead of time for adjoining rooms, rollaways, cribs, etc.

✅ Request early check-in so you don’t have to wait around if you’re landing before the standard 3PM check-in.

✅ Pack a secret stash of surprise goodies for the littles to enjoy. You never know when you'll need a bribe 😉

✅ Audit your bags to make sure you’re not missing any of the little things like the kids’ toothpaste or their favorite lovey.

✅ If you have a little that likes to 'help' with the packing, I repeat, audit your bags! You don't want to find out when you arrive at your destination that you're missing all your underwear. Or possibly even worse, something extra that you didn't expect to have to explain to a TSA agent 😬
