In our perpetual quest to better our lodging product, we've spruced up the back patios in our two condos. And not only that, we've replaced all the patio furniture with some fancy, one-of-a-kind pieces. Oh, and did I mention that these patios have an amazing view of Mark Creek? Yeah, that's the town's main water source. Live the Mark Creek highlife, book into the Super Condo!

Did You Know? Gerry Sorenson Drive winds its way up to the ski hill. Home address of Northstar Mtn Village where we often pick up clients. Here’s a post featuring Gerry:)!

in 1981: Gerry Sorensen out-speeds the world’s best to win her first Alpine Ski World Cup race in her debut season!

Gerry, starting from the 30th position on the Krummholz Hill in Haus, Austria, sped down the 2,590m course in 1:39.27, and beat the favoured Irene Epple of West Germany by .08 seconds.

Her victory came as a surprise to many, including Epple, who had already posed for several victory shots before Gerry's time was even clocked. No one guessed that this 22-year-old Canadian would be able to beat the best in the world in her very first season in World Cup competition.
