We were proud to host the 2nd Annual New York State Home Day in celebration of our fire and emergency services earlier this week.

Thirty dignitaries and guests attended an engaging discussion about the critical contributions of our fire and emergency services and the vital need for adequate funding, including reauthorization of the current AFG and SAFER grant programs.

Special greetings and comments were provided by Philip Gow of Congressman Nick Langworthy’s office (NY 23rd District), Deputy Commissioner Ron Barrett of the Buffalo Fire Department, and Chris McLoone, Editor-in-Chief of Fire Apparatus and Emergency Equipment magazine.

We are proud to be in Washington D.C. this week representing the fire industry!

Each year we join with FAMA - Fire Apparatus Manufacturers' Association, the Fire and Emergency Manufacturers and Services Association - FEMSA and fire service partners in Washington DC to meet with Members of Congress and their staff. This year, we are advocating for AFG (Assistance to Firefighters Grants), SAFER, U.S. Fire Administration (USFA) and USAR (Urban Search and Rescue).

During this year’s annual Pierce Manufacturing Dealer Meeting Jay Junkins, Vice President Global Operations and Supply Chain, presented us with the 2022 Pierce Supply Chain Achievement Award. During the presentation he detailed that Pierce Manufacturing currently partners with over 2000 global vendors. This prestigious award was based upon the following criteria:

1. On time delivery
2. Quality
3. Adherence to policies and procedures
4. Responsiveness

Our supply chain performance allowed us to virtually eliminate stock outs while focusing on delivery and quality. On hand to accept the award on behalf of our employees in Burlington, Ontario and Lancaster, New York were Mike Vazzo and Shaun Salvino.

Oran McNabb, President of our parent company INNOMOTIVE Solutions Group, was quoted as saying: "This is an incredible award for our organization and something that all of our employees can be truly proud of. AMDOR has enjoyed a long and mutually beneficial relationship with Pierce Manufacturing who have continually pushed our organization to improve. It is humbling to realize that the performance AMDOR delivers to all its customers has been recognized by a global leader in manufacturing."

For this week's we would like to introduce Steve.

Steve is our Information Systems Manager for all ISG companies and has recently celebrated his 20th anniversary with us. Steve enjoys training employees how to use the system to find data related to their daily job responsibilities. Outside of work Steve enjoys mountain biking and has a combined biking/walking distance of 9,000 miles in the last 2 years.

For this week's we would like to introduce Drew.

Drew is our Vice President of Manufacturing for all ISG brands. He has been with us for the past 6 months. His favorite thing about his role is the people making it happen, day in and day out to support our respective industries. The culture of working together as a team and looking out for one another. Fun facts, Drew enjoys spending time with his family. He has a 20 month old son, and a baby girl due any day now. When he has time he enjoys hunting/shooting, gardening, making beef jerky and getting out on his Harley for a weekend road trip!

Bethel Township Fire Department Clark County Ohio recently took delivery of this Rosenbauer America Rescue Engine from All American Fire Equipment. Some beautiful Amdor with black carbon fiber lift bars. This rig was recently in to our Fire & Marine Inc. shop for a upfit. Thank you for your trust in ISG products.
