FULL REVIEW of CANCUN Vacation Certificate trip by Roberto Pena-Rodriguez

In July of 2018 I decide to join the program , and give it a try for my Real Estate Business. I wanted to know if it was real the FREE VACATION STAY, so I joined and gave myself one free vacation. In March 2019 my wife and 2 kids age of 3 and 6 decided to go to Cancun for Spring Break.

Booking Process

I joined the program as a Gold Member in October 2018, and immediately gave myself a free vacation stay to Cancun. I used the back end system, entered my Name and email. I received the email to activate the voucher, I did it very easy over the web page. Just entered my credit card information and got charged for 98.10 dlls Press send and voila. The voucher was activated. Now I had 18 months to schedule the trip. But because I knew when I wanted to travel. I went and called the booking phone number, I talked to a customer service rep, and I gave her the my name and email the number of guest that were traveling. They asked for the dates that I wanted to travel, they put me on hold and confirmed that the dated were available. I told them to reserve to confirm the dates and then I got an email from bookvip.com of the reservation.

Travel to Cancun

Before making the reservation I checked that the airline had the dates available. Then I booked my airline plane ticked nonstop to Cancun International airport.

Arriving in Cancun

I arrived in Cancun about at 1PM, so when We were walking to pick up the baggage at the Bagged claim, they are going to be several people saying that they are from Vidanta of from Mayan Palace. BUT do not STOP, they will want for you to gk to a presentation. Do Not stop the those people. Go directly to the baggage claim and pick up your baggage. And move directly to the outside of the Airport, where the shuttle service will be waiting for you.h

Getting to Resort/Hotel

Before traveling to Cancun, about one week before, I called the hotel VIDANTA Resort, to check if they had a shuttle service, they responded that they did, and they ask the the and time of the arrival, as well as the airline traveling and people traveling and email. After giving all the information, they sent a confirmation email, please Print that email. Outside the Airport you will find a man with a sign of VIDANTA, please check in with him, and he will guide you to the shuttle to tne airport. My family did wait about 20 minutes outside the airport for the shuttle to arrive, thanks there was a small refreshments store outside while waiting. After the shuttle drives to the resort for about 40 minutes, in direction to Playa del Carmen, you will see several street signs that Vidanta and Cirque du Soliel is nearby.

Checking in Hotel

The Resort in in like a jungle, and it has 5 hotels inside the resort, so its pretty big. As you you arrive at the Lobby Central, with your baggage, they will take your luggage and send it to the the hotel, for you not to be carrying it around. there is going to be someone to welcome you, will check your reservation and will send you to .the sidewalk for you to wait for the next trolley, where they are going to send you to the Mayan Palace Hotel. Once arriving at the Mayan Palace lobby, there will be someone to welcome you and send you to the next front desk person to check you in. There they will ask for your credit card to do a security voucher of 10,000 pesos, you will not get charged, and also they will charge the 11 dlls daily for a total of 55 dlls.

Transporting inside the Resort

Activities

Inside the Resort the are a ton of Activities, every night there is a different activity, I recommend to download the Vidanta App to know what is happening and where, you do have to be prepared , because the distance between one hotel and another will take you about 30 minutes walking, so its recommended to take the trolley. Sometimes you have to get @ trolley to get to your destination inside the RESORT.

Checking Out

Checking out was a very easy process you can do it the night before, and before 10 PM at the concierge lobby of your building. The process of checking out takes about 5 minutes, you can arrange for the bellboys yo pick up your luggage, or take it on the train. Something that they did not tell us about the checkout process was 2 more charges. AN optional environmental charge, and taxes for the resort fees, the environmental charges can get waived(300 PESOS) , the taxes of the resort fees are 20+20.40 total of 40.40 pesos daily a total of 202 pesos, its about 12 dlls.

The total that I spent for this trip, this is not including 2 trips outside of the resort during the stay.

Booking Vip 98 dlls

RESORT FEES 55 dlls

Total : $153.15

Now, we went on this trip, but if your planning on staying on the resort and not going out, you should think about upgrading for an all inclusive stay.

Detailed (and long) review on my Cancun certificate redemption experience:

I signed up as a Business member in January because of the potential I saw in marketing with the vacation certificates. However, I was very skeptical since it almost sounded 'too good to be true', and I didn't want my clients to get burned.

So I decided to issue myself a vacation certificate to Cancun (Grand Mayan Palace), to see for myself what my clients would be be experiencing themselves. I redeemed my certificate over the phone and paid the $98.50 in taxes, and provided my desired travel dates. They offered me 'all-inclusive' upgrades but I declined them. In about a week I received an email from the resort confirming my dates. I then purchased the airfare for my wife and I.

Upon our arrival I was blown away by how big and beautiful the resort was. I rented a car and had to use the valet service since there is no self parking at the resort.

Check-in was a breeze. A timeshare salesperson approached us about a free breakfast buffet and discount card if we attended a sales presentation, which we kindly declined.

The resort is located in Playa Del Carmen, which is located 40 minutes south of Cancun. This is an ideal location because you can drive to all the major attractions such as Chichen Itza, Tulum, Coba and more.

You can also catch a ferry to the islands of Cozumel and Isla Mujeres.

We visited every attraction and location mentioned above. Keep in mind we only stayed 5 days and 4 nights due to other commitments we had back home.

Upon check out, we received our final bill which I have posted here, as well as annotated to help you understand what you and/or your clients can expect to pay 'out the door'.

- There is a MANDATORY $100 Mexican pesos daily charge for valet parking (no self parking available), which comes out to about $5 US Dollars. This only applies if you drive your own car.
- There is a daily ISH tax (environmental tax) of $20 Mexican pesos, which come out to just over $1 US dollar a night.
- There is a daily ISA (some other tax) of $20 Mexican pesos, which comes out to just over $1 US dollar a night.
- There is a daily resort fee of approximately $365 Mexican pesos, which comes out to approximately $20.

The resort provides FREE basic speed internet for all guests. I had some business webinars to run, so I purchased the high speed internet package, which is NOT necessary for basic internet needs.

This resort is the only resort in all of Mexico with a Cirque Du Soleil theatre on the grounds. It was worth every cent. You see that on my bill, but that is optional of course.

All in all, our ENTIRE stay cost us just $117 dollars for all standard charges. Keep in mind this is a 5 star resort. It was a STEAL! We could not be happier. In regards to the resort fee, MOST resorts charge that above and beyond other fees.

This visit validated to me that these certificates are the real deal, and my level of confidence and belief skyrocketed! Upon my return from this trip I started issuing tons of these certificates as well as signing up affiliates simply by sharing my personal experience.

As a matter of fact, I just learned today that I won the $1,000 grand prize for the having the most affiliate sign-ups!

I would strongly encourage everyone to redeem and experience at least one vacation certificate for yourself whether in the US or Mexico.

Your level of confidence, passion and belief will help you leverage this great opportunity to the max.
