Celebrating the accomplished woman and her passion for cycling, adventure and the camaraderie of her peers, Vesta Velo is a bicycle touring company just for women. Our aim is to kindle the flame that cycling inspires in those of us who choose to see the world on two wheels. We are mothers, daughters, grandmothers, sisters, aunts and friends.

And we are all guardians of the fires that burn brightly in our souls when we are doing what we love. Based in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, we share with you our favorite cycling challenges and the extraordinary vistas that keep us pedaling to 'just beyond that next hill.' Let us share with you the natural beauty of Northern New Hampshire and Western Maine as it was meant to be seen with the hills rolling away beneath our wheels, the rivers running with us, and the trees intent on giving us their shade.

We're overwhelmed by the stories, from a mother taking her first road ride at age 73, to a young woman learning to ride on a CitiBike in New York's bike lanes, to Rwandan government officials coming out to support and advance the sport of cycling among women in their country, to pros at the Tour of California bearing tattoos in the peloton. Even Google got in on the day!

We are riding tomorrow! It's suppose to be a whopping 73 degrees and sunny! :) We will ride the Bear Notch loop, 40 miles. Meet in parking lot of Stan and Dan's at 10:00am then we will swing by Red Jersey around 10:10. We're going to go pretty slow cuz even tho I ride all winter, I've not done a long ride in a while.
