Mom and I are off again! It’s a doozy of an adventure this time! Next stop Detroit! Then on to Amsterdam for a few days before we board an Avalon Waterways River Cruise! I am going to to be posting tons of our adventures on Instagram and TikTok! Plus you can now follow Grammie Go with Grammie on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok! I am missing Jeff Grace and my kids terribly after being spoiled all weekend! But don’t fret, Jeff and I have an adventure on the horizon! We are sailing the Danube and ending in Munich to hit Oktoberfest! !

It’s been a LONG DAY! Up at 3am to drive 3 hours to the airport, then a flight to Nassau, over 3 hours to get to customs and get a room. But the views flying in were amazing! And it was a direct flight from Philly!

This is one of my most favorite weeks of the year! I get all my babies under one roof! We love celebrating Morgan’s Birthday and the 4th of July in Ocean City Maryland together! Last night we went to Assateague Island National Seashore for a Bonfire with Melanie Todd Corbin and her family. Family, Friends, Fire and Ponies! It was a perfect night and the starts were amazing!

While I am so happy to be home with my family, I am missing the view from my room. I am already counting the days to when I can go back to Sandals Emerald Bay with Jeff Grace. There is definitely something very special about Exuma!

My job is far from what it looks like on social media. However it does have some pretty AMAZING perks. Days like yesterday make up for working 7 days a week 12 to 15 hour days, for missing my family and even sleeping in the airport.

Yesterday 27 Mad Hatter Adventures Travel Advisors took the 7 Beaches Excursion offered at Sandals Emerald Bay. I have no words! We are so incredibly grateful to be given this opportunity.

The hardest part of being a parent is letting them go. But it’s exactly what you are supposed to do, IF you do it right. I am lucky enough that my oldest still says she needs her mom even though she is an old married lady 🤣

I am truly blessed that I got to spend today surrounded by my babies. Jeff Grace spoiled me with an amazing breakfast, lunch and dinner. (Like he ground wheat berries to make me fresh pancakes this morning! Can you say spoiled?)

I am so grateful for my village. For the messages and phone calls.

I have truly loved every single stage of parenting. And I am even more grateful that I get to witness them become these amazing people. I am lucky to have the children in my life, no matter how they found their way to me.

Kindly step aside and LET THEM.

There will be people that would rather lose you than be honest about what they've done to you. Let them go.

Make the decision to no longer sit at tables where you might be the topic when you get up. Let them go.

You can still be kind. You can even still love them deeply. But do it from the distance they created in their words and actions. Access to you is a privilege they have proven they can’t be trusted with. Let them go.

You don’t need to tell your side of the story. God already knows. Let God fight the battle for you. Let them go.
