#ThrowbackThursday I inherited tenants when I purchased this house in Greensboro. They were only paying $650 in rent for a 3 bedroom house (4 working adults). I thought that increasing the rent by $300 would cause them to terminate their lease but it didn’t. I ended up evicting them months later after tolerating nonpayment, bounced checks, late payments, and they even called the code violations department to try to extend their stay after not paying rent again. I finally got them out and this is what they left behind. I pulled up to the house to add a lockbox for my contractors and the previous tenant was roaming around the property. She asked if she could get some stuff out that she left in the freezer although the power had been off for days. Turns out she had stored all of her stuff in the multiple sheds at the property after being evicted and was trying to access it. My demo guys came the next day and emptied the place. Market rent is actually $1200 for this place, not including the garage. #ITried #SheTriedIt #GenerationalWealth
