My heart goes out to the family of@brothertonsbbqpftx. Most of you know my job is showing people the world of Austin BBQ. One of the ways I go about this is taking behind the scenes. Some owners allow more than others for kinds of reasons. John Brotherton leaned all the way in. He got a real joy out showing off his pit collection, answering questions and talking with guests. Then he'd take the group over to meet and talk with When we would leave my guest would say things like "well that was cool" "what nice guy" "that wouldn't have happened without you there" I would always say thank John. Well thank you John for everything. You will be missed my friend.
