Cooler weather means garage season! Especially since the holidays are close. It's the perfect time to edit out what you don't want anymore and open up space to organize the things that matter most to you.

We added Elfa hanging and open shelving to the existing built-in cabinets. I really love how its flexibility allowed us to design around the fridge for maximum organization.

And great bins in the cabinets made things super easy to find and put away.

This sweet couple moved into a beautiful new senior living community. And, the kitchens are always small because most meals are taken in the community dining room. Senior's kitchens are usually about breakfast and snacks. But there are still plenty of things to organize. When the space is small extra shelves, bins, and drawers make all the difference.

Historic homes can be a challenge to organize. But this hall closet with AC access made a great linen and broom closet. This space was set up for no fuss easy access and low maintenance.

Lots of great storage for little money.

I have lived in historic homes most of my adult life so I understand the dilemmas of no closets and quirky spaces. If you've got an older home and need some advice, give me a call!

Redesigned primary closet! This client wanted to combine clothes from another smaller closet into this one so all of her clothes would be together. We asked this space to do a lot. And it did! The secret to maximizing the space was to use Elfa , especially the gliding shoe shelves. Love what we were able to do. Check out the before and afters. 😍🥰🥳

Closet Redesign ❤. This client requested a redesign of her Elfa closet to accommodate her boots and to get organized. We relocated luggage and decor items that were hiding in the far ends of the closet to allow more room for hanging clothes.

Love Elfa because of its versatility. It's a much happier space now!

Killer large pantry! The left side of this pantry is getting remodeled with a countertop including drawers and a cabinet below. Our job was to come up with a layout that accommodated all the contents of the pantry. And, we did! Check out the before and afters.

Everything on the two right walls is now organized and good to go with plans for the left side after construction. I'll repost after the project is complete. Most of the left side will function like a butler's pantry with dishes and appliances. Can't wait 😍!

Little change, HUGE difference in the before and after! Just by changing this laundry shelf design, we were able to:
1. Make the hanging space work better for longer items
2. Get the frequently used items lower and easier to reach
3. Open up the top of one machine for folding
4. Create an entire shelf for extra storage of infrequently used items.

Great use for an understairs closet! This client loves Click & Grow and we've set up the perfect area away from her two cats 😉. It's also adjacent to the laundry room so she uses the space to hang dry her clothes. Bonus - the grow lights make an awkward space like this feel more friendly 😄❤.

Mounted pullouts can be a great organizing solution for lower cabinets and are helpful when bending down is a problem. Plus here's a little hack when your cabinet measurements don't allow for a mounted pullout.

Pullouts come in various sizes and materials, but I like these .

This lovely pantry is a great example of how small things can make a big impact. This client already had all the containers they needed, but they weren't organized into matching sets. By putting all the like containers together and relabeling we changed how the space looks and feels for very little cost. Check out the before and afters!

The only thing we added were the three large flour bins per a special request from the family baker 😄.

Beautiful Before and After Pantry pics. No matter what style you're going for, the thing that makes the most impact is using products from the same suite. We used these Nordic bins in different sizes to bring a clean crisp look to these shelves. Lovely!

Garage workshop/workout area redo! We were able to make a big difference in this garage on a small budget. Sometimes it's just a matter of having the right products and utilizing the space better. Check out these before and afters.

Once the next project is completed the building materials on the floor will be gone leaving space for the motorcycle. Everything needed to work on the bikes is organized and close by.

I use these multipurpose bins a lot. They're a great price point and their dimensions make them super versatile.

Starting 2024 off with this lovely pantry redo! Half of this couple wanted see-through bins and the other wanted solid. So the shared wall is a great compromise utilizing the mesh and water hyacinth bins The Container Store.
Everything has a place and is easy to get to. From chaos to calm 😄

Attic decluttering and cleanout! I forgot to take before pics, but this is what came out of the attic and what it looks like now. All holiday decor that wasn't being used.

So proud of this client and what we accomplished! That clean attic feels sooooo good.

It's that time of year! Organizers often offer seasonal decorating as an annual service for their clients. Over the years I have tried various forms of artificial tree storage and this is hands down THE BEST. If you have a place in the garage or a ground floor closet or storage area tall enough you won't regret this purchase. It's so much better than having to lug around heavy boxes and multiple tree bags.

Plus it saves a lot of time setting up and putting away the tree at the end of the season. I've attached a video in the comment section so you can see how the bag folds up during use. ❤️❤️❤️

This project is still in process, but it's a good example of cubbies vs adjustable shelving. This client had the typical wooden cubbies, but unfortunately, you can see they came off the wall and left some sheetrock damage.

If you have the chance to redo an area of your closet like this you won't regret switching to wall-mounted adjustable shelving. This is Elfa from . Wall-mounted shelving lets you:
Use the floor if needed.
Design with as many or as few shelves as you want.
Space the shelves however you need.
Change the configuration any time you need to.
Reach your clothes easier because you don't have to work around a
wooden cubby wall or pole supports.

We're setting this up for costume jewelry storage. She already owned the trays so we'll be working with those primarily, adding some new containers and labeling. It's going to be so easy for her to find what she needs when it's done!

Moving in! While we're waiting for a bedroom dresser to arrive we've set up this closet so things can be located easily. I have found these Chancellor bins to be useful in different applications because they stack well and have a good balance between hiding things enough for a smooth look and still being able to see what's inside.

Many of these undergarments will move into the new dresser but these bins are versatile enough to be used in other places in the house.

This is why Elfa is such a good investment. This couple purchased their home with this closet already installed. It was serviceable, but it didn't meet all of their particular needs. Because Elfa is a component system we were able to redesign the space using the components they already had. We added a few extra shelves with minimal cost to create their ideal closet.

Check out the before and afters on each wall. You can see how shelving and drawers were relocated for maximum storage. We're waiting on a few more bins and finishing touches, but what a difference!

I particularly like the wall in the niche behind the door. This lady is a singer, so we moved all her performance clothing and accessories to be in the same area. Now it's easy to put together that perfect glam outfit 🤩.
