Our March vacation on the Disney Wish was so much fun. We saw a Space X rocket booster being brought back to port, enjoyed time in Nassau and on Castaway Cay! It’s such a different experience from visiting the Parks, and a terrific getaway!

Have you heard? We’re goin’ down the bayou Very Soon!!

I was a Disneyland Cast Member when Splash Mountain first opened in California, in July 1989. I was among the first people to ride it, when testing was still going on. While I’m going to miss the original version, and was so sad to see it go, I’m super pumped to check out the new and improved Tiana’s Bayou Adventure! I LOVE “Princess and the Frog”, it’s one of my top 5 Disney films, so while it’s bittersweet, I can’t wait to experience the Bayou with Madam Odie, Louie, Prince Naveen and of course Tiana herself!

We recently had the opportunity to sail on the beautiful Disney Wish, the most recent addition to the Disney Cruise Line fleet. She is an amazing ship with so much to offer! We stopped at Nassau, Bahamas, and only went ashore to grab a Starbucks and then went right back on board. We didn't want to miss any of the activities, trivia, shows or most importantly food options by staying on shore in Nassau.

The Disney Cruise Line fleet currently consists of 5 ships, but is soon expanding to 8! We've been fortunate enough to have sailed 4 of the current 5 (just missing the Disney Wonder) so we will have some work to do. Please reach out to me to talk all things Disney Cruise Line! I know we’ve just turned the calendar to May, and we are all deep into our summer vacation planning (which I can help with) BUT it’s also the perfect time to start thinking about the holidays in December!

For this Throwback Thursday, I want to share a couple of pictures of my Cast Member days at Disneyland. I was a Fantasyland Attractions Hostess, working specifically on the Storybook Land Canal Boats. I had an amazing time living in Southern California, working for the Disneyland Resort complex and enjoying all of the fun things SoCal has to offer.

Have you ever stayed at the Magic Kingdom after the Kiss Goodnight? If you stay long enough, you can get fantastic pictures on Main Street! The kids and I stayed one night until close to 2am, patiently waiting for everyone to clear out to get these amazing photos. The Monorail was already closed so we took the last ferry boat over to the TTC and our car was one of maybe 5 still in the parking lot!
