Here's a fun fact you might not know: There's a Northernmost Point buoy in Angle Inlet, Minnesota (of the "contiguous" 48).

Have you been there? Have you been to both?

I’ve seen the southernmost point, but I’ll be honest…I’m too much of a summer creature to be in any hurry to go to Minnesota. I will put it on my “It’d be nice to see if I’m in the area” list, though!! 😂

BREAKING NEWS!

The Department of the Interior today announced that Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge will be nominated to join the UNESCO World Heritage List.

The nomination comes after a collaborative process with partners and consultation with the Federal Interagency Panel for World Heritage. If designated, the refuge would join the list recognizing 1,223 cultural and natural sites of universal importance, such as the Grand Canyon in Arizona, the Taj Mahal in India, the Great Wall in China, and the Galápagos Islands in Ecuador.

✈️ When we travel, we buy ornaments to commemorate our trip. This particular one was given to us by my Mother-in-Law the Christmas after our Colorado trip in 2010. I’ve always thought it was a neat and thoughtful gift! 🎁
