Planning international travel later this year or next? Don’t wait—apply now so you’re not scrambling last minute.

My passport still had 3 years left, but I went ahead and renewed now.

Passport tips:

Routine processing: Currently 6–8 weeks, but could increase. Mine came back in 4 weeks!

Expedited processing: 2–3 weeks (extra fee).

Renewals & first-time applications: Can be done by mail (for renewals) or in person (for new applications).

Bottom line: If you think you’ll need a passport in the next year, get ahead of the delays and apply ASAP!

⚠️ URGENT PASSPORT WARNING FOR NON-BINARY & TRANS TRAVELERS ⚠️

To all my travel clients who are non-binary, trans, or have gender markers other than “M” or “F” on their passports: please be aware that there are reports of a federal freeze on issuing or renewing passports with the “X” gender marker under the current administration.

Additionally, some travelers have alleged that their passports have been confiscated at airports or during the renewal process. While these reports are still developing, it’s crucial to take extra precautions if you are planning international travel soon.

What You Should Do:

✅ Check your passport NOW – If it’s expired or close to expiring, seek legal guidance before attempting to renew.

✅ Avoid making unnecessary updates to your gender marker or other personal details until more clarity emerges.

✅ Carry additional identification when traveling (state ID, birth certificate, legal name change docs).

✅ Monitor official State Department updates on passport policies.

✅ Be prepared for potential delays and have backup travel documents if possible.

About Us

I have been in the travel industry since earning my Associate's Degree in Travel & Tourism from Ohio University in 2003. I served as an independent agent for several years before deciding to attend law school. Although I've been a full-time attorney since 2008, my passion for travel and helping others plan their vacations has never dissipated. As a result, I re-launched my travel agency business in November 2018.

I have a keen research ability that has led to a successful legal career. Those research skills also help me find just the right vacation for my clientele as well.

I have traveled extensively in the Caribbean and U.S. and have traveled on over 15 cruises. I am a certified specialist for the Bahamas, St. Vincent and Ireland as well. I'm a bit of a genealogy buff, and following my own DNA results, I headed to Ireland to explore my heritage. As such, I have a special interest in planning trips to help clients explore their ancestral roots.
