Last week’s 3 Cans & A Good Time Food Drive was an incredible success! With the theme "Cans, Boots, & BBQ," the event raised an impressive 5,674 pounds of food—nearly tripling the initial goal of 2,000 pounds—to benefit the New Hope Food Pantry. This vital contribution will support families in Johnson, Wyandotte, and Miami counties this Thanksgiving season.

Held at the ACA Business Club of Overland Park on November 13th, the evening featured delicious BBQ bites from Johnny's BBQ, free drinks, karaoke, dancing, and generous gift card giveaways. The event was made even more impactful by Hostess Brands, who donated four pallets of food, significantly boosting the total contributions.

The need for food donations is greater than ever as Thanksgiving approaches. While many of us look forward to gathering around a table filled with food, countless families in our community are struggling to make sure they have enough to eat. That’s where we come in. Over the past year and a half, with your help, we’ve raised over 20,000 pounds of food for New Hope Food Pantry, but the need continues to grow—especially during the holiday season.

Thanksgiving is a time for giving back, and this is our chance to make sure no one goes without a meal. Canned goods are especially important, as they provide non-perishable, nutritious options for families in need. By donating, you’re helping ensure that everyone can enjoy a warm meal this holiday season.
With our goal of raising 2,000 lbs of food for Thanksgiving, we’re calling on you to join us at the 3 Cans & A Good Time Food Drive on November 13th. Your contributions make a real difference, and together, we can continue to support the families that need it most.
