Come join Darren and I on our upcoming Australia and New Zealand cruise with Norwegian Cruise Line! This 12 day journey leaves from Sydney on March 5th, 2026 and ends in Auckland on March 17th. Stops in Australia include: Eden, Melbourne and Burnie, Tasmania. One day will be spent cruising through Milford, Doubtful and Dusky Sounds, all apart of the the Unesco Heritage site that is Fjordlands National Park of New Zealand. Our next stops, all in New Zealand, will be Dunedin (Port Chalmers), Lyttleton, Marlborough (Picton), Napier, Tauranga and finally our final stop, Auckland. We will be going over a few days early so we can spend some time in Sydney and staying over at least one extra day in Auckland. If you don't want to go early or stay after you are certainly not required to. Pricing starts at $4680.44 per couple for the cruise only. Pricing for flights and hotels will be available in the spring of 2025. The deposit to hold your space is $250 and it is totally refundable. For those of you that don't know, this little guy is named Kurt Littleman. My nephews accidentally left him at mine and Darren's house about 10 years ago. He has managed, in all of these years, to go on several adventures with us, when he remembers to tag along. If he doesn't tag along that may be our fault, but you know stuff happens when you're packing! He may show up in this feed from time to time to share his experiences when he does manage to come along. Maybe someday, if he is popular enough, he will get his own travel page!

I have decided, since I am now working in the Travel Smart office and not as an independent agent, that I am going to use this page as a tool to help people travel. I will also post personal pictures and travel stories from mine and Darren's travels. If you ever have any questions about travel or would like help planning a trip please feel free to reach out. Below is a quote from Maya Angelou and it sums up my travel philosophy pretty well.

I am so excited for next week! On Sunday we fly out to California to go to Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure! This will be my first time going to the parks on the west coast! I was always a little obsessed with Disney World growing up because it was closer to home I think and I have now come to love it! I am so looking forward to another Disney adventure! We are also doing a tour that will take us to LA to do a bit of site seeing and we will of course be doing our favorite thing when we travel, eat!! I will be posting lots of pictures and maybe some video here and there. If anyone is interested in following along please do! If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask!!

I have spent the day working on my 50th birthday trip! But Shannon you say "You were 50 last year!", and I would say "Yes, yes I was! Thank you for reminding me!". This trip, which will take place in July of next year, finally, will end up in the beautiful city of Budapest! This city, Prague, Vienna and many small towns in Germany and Austria are on the itinerary. I am new to river cruising and never thought that my first one would include 12 other people! What a group we have going! This is so the kind of work I enjoy, planning trips to make people happy! If you would ever be interested in going on a group trip just let me know, I would love to help you plan!!

I believe that every place you travel to changes you. It may change the way you look at food, at people or just the way you regard life in general. I think that one of the best ways to enlighten yourself is through travel.

These are pictures from one of my most favorite vacations ever! Small Hope Bay Lodge on Andros Island in the Bahamas is one of the most serene places I have ever been! Have you ever just wanted to unplug everything? This is a great place for that! It's a world class diving resort and the waters are so clear and beautiful! What is you most favorite vacation spot?
