WHO IS READY TO MAKE AN IMPACT?
Which USA-based charity would you pick to receive $10,000?

I am calling in nonprofit activists and my philanthropic sisters to replace my seat on a very special Giving Group called Thank You Ma’am.

Thank You Ma’am was created and founded by an extraordinary group of Seattle women I am very honored to called friends and for the past 5+ years I’ve had the JOY of being a contributing member.

What does that mean?
I said YES to donating $100/quarter (that’s less than $8/week).

WHO gets the money? THIS IS THE BEST PART!!

You Decide.

Specifically, here’s how it works:
Once a quarter, the group meets in Seattle (and virtual) for only 1 hour. Every member gets an opportunity to nominate a USA-based nonprofit of their choosing. 4 are selected each quarter, and those women present a 5 minute pitch, following which, all in attendance vote. The winning nonprofit gets ALL THE MONEY (goal is $10,000 when we have 100 registered members - as of today we are at 89).

Art residency in Zion... here's the call.

One week left to apply to be an Artist-in-Residence at Zion National Park next year!

Since 2009, Zion’s Artist-in-Residence program has hosted fabulous artists of all mediums. In exchange for presenting public programs, holding studio open houses, and interacting with visitors out on the trails, selected artists get to spend a month in the historic Grotto House being inspired by the beauty and energy of Zion Canyon. The artists and I are so very delighted by how many of you Tasty art fans showed up last night for our ART IN the DARK party. HUGE thanks to Robin Thomson for rocking the cashier desk all night so I could play with all of you. Shout out to our fabulous beverage sponsors Obec Brewing and Sparkle Donkey Tequila for adding liquid magic to the night, and to my gorgeous bartenders Lucy Perrone and Leslie Briner. Grateful that BrightCostumes was IN THE HOUSE to lite us up, and Liberated Foods, llc to serve us some sobering serenity tea! I hope everyone had as much as I did sporting the headlamp ;-)
