Umrah, often referred to as the "lesser pilgrimage," is a deeply spiritual journey that holds profound significance for Muslims around the world. It involves a series of rituals performed in the holy city of Mecca, Saudi Arabia, and can be undertaken at any time of the year, unlike Hajj, which has specific dates.

The experience begins with the state of Ihram, where pilgrims don simple white garments, symbolizing purity and equality before God. As they enter Mecca, the sight of the magnificent Kaaba, draped in its black silk covering, is breathtaking. Pilgrims circle the Kaaba seven times in a ritual known as Tawaf, expressing their devotion and unity with fellow believers.

The journey continues with the Sa'i, where pilgrims walk between the hills of Safa and Marwah, commemorating Hagar's search for water for her son, Ishmael. This act of perseverance and faith resonates deeply within the hearts of those who undertake Umrah.
