FOLKS! As you know I fly from MN/ND to Frankfurt on a fairly regular basis. I'm constantly getting bombarded with calls of guys who say they can do it cheaper and in BUSINESS CLASS. So I said OK TRY these dates. Rather than the 1,700 he started with he was at almost 5,000$. I called him out and he gave me this song and dance about, well If I can route you with different stops I can save you money. I said....HAVE AT IT. THIS IS WHAT HE SENT BACK. 5 legs to do a 2 leg journey.

40 YEARS AGO, Chuck Schumacher and his band played in a Mex Restaurant called PAUNCHO's! Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday of almost every week, the good food and great entertainment was incredible in the little town called Manhattan Beach. (Get off the 405 one Rosecrans Blvd and drive till you hit the water!) NOW every Tuesday night, Chuck is back, entertaining an entirely new generation of folks making their life in site of the Pacific Ocean! Those were wonderful years. I hope the people that are there now appreciate it as much as we did.

Thought you might find this interesting. I've got a trip to Florence IT (and on to Germany) planned. The Top photo is the entrance to the Airbnb I rented. It's the door to the left of the red door with the carefully placed bike. Look at the photo below and check out the red door. here you actually see the narrow little city street it's on and what it really looks like. I am not upset about this... I just find it interesting how you can change the ambiance/the feel of a location with a carefully staged photo.
