Amazing!

The winter solstice has been marked in Ireland for 5000 years. The Newgrange Passage Tomb in County Meath, was built around 3200 BCE with its entrance in precise alignment with the rising sun over the solstice each winter. This imposing and mysterious monument is a testament to the importance of this time of year for our ancient ancestors.
EDIT** For those who are fact checking, I am aware Newgrange dates to the Neolithic, and that the Celts are Bronze to Iron age. Nowhere in the description above does it mention the architects of the passage tomb were Celts. My lines of poetry acknowledge my Celtic spirit and my Irish nationality. ☘️ We, are born out of the light of our ancestors.
If you want to know more about this , my book 'Beyond the Two Doors ' tells the story of these ancient tribes.
