Imagine a picture perfect morning amidst the serene backdrop of the Wasatch Mountains, where suddenly 15 colorful hot air balloons begin inflating simultaneously. It’s an amazing sight.

The Ogden Valley Balloon and Artist Festival scheduled for August 15, 16 & 17, 2014. The event will be held at the Presenting Sponsors location, Nordic Valley, located in Eden, Utah. The Festival offers affordable fun for the whole family and will feature balloon launches, Art booths, continuous live entertainment, featuring a diverse selection of music, family games and great food. The popular Balloon Glow will take place Saturday evening, August 16 at dusk, approximately 8:45 p.m.,a full schedule of events visit ogdenvalleyballoonfestival.com

The return of the fund raiser breakfast for the Ogden Rescue Mission is back! Friday and Saturday beginning at 7:00 am, a traditional breakfast will be served at Nordic Valley and all proceeds of the breakfast will be given to the Ogden Rescue Mission. Other food vendors include Alpine Pizza during lunch time, and at dinner time, a plated BBQ meal will be offered by Huntsville Barbeque. Other food vendors include Navaho tacos, Heavens Best novelty ice cream and more.

Entrance to the Festival is free other than nominal fees for the family games, food, and $10 fee for parking, per car load per/day. A bike valet will be offered and free of charge for those attending the festival on a bicycle.

NOTE:BALLOON LAUNCH TIMES: SUNRISE & about 7:30 PM, weather permitting. Balloons do not fly in the middle of the day because the wind picks up, but there are plenty of activities for your family to enjoy all day long!
