Thanks everybody for the birthday wishes. It was a good one. Spent a little time in the casting braces and got a nice birthday reward for making one more trip around the sun.
When I got home….there it was… an enEric Ezell pan of Peanut Butter Birthday Fudge…that my bride made. Dang what a day.
Eric and Pat appreciate the rowing and banter.

What can I say? These ladies got it done on nymphs and dry droppers in cold weather. Very impressive showing and welcome to the 20+ Club Susan.

We are headed into cooler weather here in the southeast and the fish are still eating. So, we are still feeding them. Recently it’s been mostly nymphs, but dry droppers have also been working when hunting for good ones.

Really enjoy fishing with Greg and Anthony. Anthony caught some nice fish. But, he will not release the photo of Greg’s big rainbow. It was just a little bigger than those Anthony caught. One can only assume he doesn’t want Dad’s fish to outshine his own. OK, in all fairness, he just hasn’t sent the pic to me yet. 😉

Paul with another 20+ fish. Nymphs has been dredging-up some fish on low water. Find one…find a few more has been the pattern.

Just being on the river in early fall is awesome. Catching fish is a bonus and having Kelly, Peter and Pepper (the pup) is a bonus x3. Thanks for making my day so enjoyable.
I am starting to switch to on the right water levels now and spending my “spare time” which there isn’t a lot, on tying better flies, in more sizes, with different colors. Hopefully we will get good flows them we can put a couple new streamer rods in angler’s hands to catch some bigger fish.

A good day on the river with Yoda. Fishing has been pretty good so far this fall. Still getting some eats from better fish and although some are coming on top that is slowing a little. Thanks to everybody who fished in September, it was a fun month. Booking dates in November now as the year is getting away from us all.
