We take reservations all year and we already have bookings for next year. When you stay with us, you get first priority on the same week the following year! Our reservation deposit is $1000 and we roll over your $500 security deposit towards it, making the balance owed towards next year $500.

Also for our repeat renters- first dibs on a weekend in October! (Oct 10-13 is booked.) Sept. is also available (Sept 9-14 is booked.)

Peak summer booking season is here! When families gather around tables for the holidays, talk of reserving for summer vacation is a hot topic (no pun intended 😉) We love that Ocean Lakes adds new activities and amenities each year. The dog park Paws n’ Play, and the dog washing station Wash n’ Wag, have become very popular! Kamp Starfish continues to be a hit with kids ages 4-11. In the off season we love to see the shows that Ocean Lakes offers discounts to such as the Carolina Opry, Alabama Theatre and Legends. The water park and the nightly golf cart parade continues to be the most popular daily activity!

New for 2024:

We added a concrete pad to the back of Double Decker for a complete and very easy pull in/out on both the front of the home and the back. We love that the road in front of our homes is very wide. We also added large outdoor carpets to the HUGE deck at 1173A. We love the look and feel! Both homes will be having gutters installed next month.

We will be renting 1173 from June thru July.
We will be renting 1173A from May thru October.

We give our repeat guests first choice over weekends in October. (3 night minimum)

We just completed all of our fall maintenance. We call it our Labor of Love!

Our homes have already begun to fill up with our repeat guests. We give our repeats first choice over summer weeks and we open up the month of October only to them!

Location, location, location!! Our homes are located in the desired Holiday Inn section of OL and are only 200 yards to the beach. This house is next to our other home, Double Decker, 1173A. We have many repeat guests who come back every year to sit out on the deck and relax with their families.

We are verified homeowners through OL and a verified Facebook business. We do not accept PayPal or credit cards. To ensure your safety and ours, we accept bank checks, money orders and personal checks only. Before a contract is sent, we must speak to you on the phone. No exceptions!

Main level of the home:
Step in to the open concept lower level of our home. The kitchen is stocked with all of your cooking needs. Corian countertops, breakfast pump out with table and chairs, stool seating at the countertop, and a bistro table with 4 stools. This house has a Keurig and a Mr. Coffee pot.
Relax in the open living room with a 52” flat screen TV with Wi-Fi and expanded boosters. The private master bedroom has a queen bed, jetted whirlpool bath tub, separate stall shower and granite countertop. 32” flat screen TV.
There is a half bath on this level as well.
We offer a full size laundry room, washer and dryer with an iron and ironing board. Two doors on this level open to the massive covered wraparound deck which wraps around three sides of the house.

Upstairs level:
The beautiful main bath on this level has a bump out area with a jetted whirlpool bath bath, separate stall shower and granite countertop. Feel like a king or queen when you bathe in this beautiful spot!
3 upstairs bedrooms have queen beds and all have new 32" flat screen TVs.
The fifth bedroom is an open concept bedroom. (Please see pictures.) It has two full beds. Kids love to call this their own TV hangout spot.

Outside areas:
Enjoy the massive covered wraparound deck which wraps around three sides of this home. There are tons of outdoor seating with two large glass tables, a picnic table for the little ones and two Adirondack chairs.
The outside shower has hot and cold water and a new faucet installed in March .

Driveway parking:
This home, like our other home, has a large oversized driveway which can park 4 large vehicles. It is very easy to get in and out as we are on a double wide road so no worry like the smaller little roads that are in Ocean Lakes.

Driveway for golf carts:
We get many compliments on the golf cart driveway with its own electrical outlet! This driveway backs out right onto a road for easy in and out. No more shuffling around vehicles!

Our reservation deposit is $1000 and it is collected upon confirmation of the reservation. Our refundable security/damage deposit is $500 and is due 60 days prior to arrival along with the full balance. After making the $1000 reservation deposit, you may make payments along the way.

Sorry no animals of any kind or size in our homes as we are animal/allergy free. Licensed drivers may rent a golf cart from OL or bring your own. No smoking/vaping/juuling/candles/personal grills. You must be 27 to rent this house. We do not rent to high school or college age for senior week or spring break. No groups, events, or for the purpose of a party, wedding, or biker weeks, etc. Motorcycles are not allowed on Ocean Lakes roads and must be parked in the overflow parking lot.

When you are a guest in our home, you are dealing directly with the owner. You do not have a middleman or a management company to deal with.

Season 2024:
One thing that I know for sure at the beach; it’s all about location, location, location! The beach season is a busy season! We are only a short walk to the beach, 200 yards. Even with a golf cart, you may find yourself not able to park at the beach front. Our home is close enough to walk back-and-forth throughout the day if you can’t find a parking spot. Right next to this house is our other home, Corner House 1173.

We are verified Homeowner through Ocean Lakes and a verified Facebook business. To ensure your security and ours we accept bank checks, money, orders, and personal checks only. We do not accept PayPal or credit cards. Before a contract is sent to you we must speak to you on the phone. No exceptions!

Main level of 1173A:
Step into our home and enjoy the open concept feeling you will have once you enter the kitchen. It is equipped with all you need to cook your favorite meals. Ample seating for all your guests at the bistro table with stools, a kitchen table with chairs, and stool seating at the countertop. This home has a Mr. Coffee and a large griddle.

Enjoy seeing the 52” flatscreen TV from any part of the lower level. It has expanded cable and Wi-Fi boosters. Two doors on the lower level open up to the HUGE 20’ x 40’ deck. Half of the deck is covered giving nice shade. On this level also is a private master bedroom and bath. The master bath has a jetted whirlpool bath tub with a separate stall shower. All bedrooms in the house have 32” flat screen TVs.

This level also has a half bath off the living room and a full size laundry room. A washer, dryer, ironing board and iron is provided for you.

Upper level of the home :
On this level you will find an open spacious hallway and wood floors throughout. Three bedrooms have queen beds and one bedroom has two full beds. There are 32” flatscreen TVs, in all of the bedrooms.
The large main bathroom on this level has a soaking tub and a separate stall shower. The second full upstairs bath has a tub/shower combination. Two upper bedrooms have doors that lead out to the balcony deck.

Outside lower level:
We love what we’ve added for 2024- two 9 x 12 outdoor rugs. This level of the deck has a large glass table with seating for 8, a large picnic table, two chaise lounges, a kiddie picnic table and two Adirondack chairs.

Outside upper level:
This 10‘ x 20‘ fully covered balcony deck is really great for a cup of coffee in the morning or watching the fireworks at night. This has 2 chairs and a table on one side and a high top bistro table with 4 stools on the other. This balcony deck is accessible through two bedroom doors on the upper level.

Vehicle parking:
You’ll love how we just laid cement on the back of the driveway for a full pull through driveway on both the front side of the house and the back.

Golf cart driveway:
No need to shuffle around your vehicles just to get your carts out or to charge them. Each of our homes have a separate golf cart driveway for your carts with its own outlets for easy charging.

Deposit:
Our reservation deposit is $1000 and our refundable security/damage deposit is $500. The reservation deposit is due upon reserving the week and the damage deposit along with the full balance, is due 60 days prior to your arrival.

No, smoking/vaping/juuling/candles/personal grills. We do not rent to high school or college age and/or for senior weeks or spring break. If you’ve never been here to see the American Heart Association Beach Ride at Lakewood Campground, be sure and put that on your calendar! It’s a four day event held in November every year. Lakewood is only  a short walk from OL. It’s truly beautiful to see the horses running down the beach and rolling in the water. 🐎 🐎

We stained the decks at Double Decker (we will do Corner House in April) and added some new outdoor seating. Both homes now have new refrigerators and we put in new outdoor shower faucets.

If you’ve been to Ocean Lakes before you know that even if you have a golf cart on the very busy beach days it’s hard to park them so our home is totally walkable. This house is next to our other home, Double Decker 1173A.

MAIN LEVEL:
As part of our maintenance we touch up our homes before the next season. We will power wash in spring of 2023.

Welcome to Season 2023! We are located in the Holiday Inn section of Ocean Lakes and only 200 yards to the beach. We love our location because we are off of the busy golf cart path and yet close enough to the ocean to walk. If you have vacationed at Ocean Lakes before, you know that even if you have a cart, some days it’s difficult to park one! No more worries with our homes as we are totally walkable to the beach and back. This house is next to our other home, Corner House, 1173.

MAIN LEVEL:
This home will be freshly touched up where needed in spring 2023. Every year our homes are power washed in spring. Enjoy our open kitchen which is stocked with all of your cooking needs including stone countertops, a breakfast pump out with table and chairs, stool seating at the countertop and a bistro table with stools. This home has both a Keurig and a Mr. Coffee pot.

Open living room: comfy couches, a 52" flat screen TV with expanded cable and Wi-Fi boosters. The private master bedroom and bath: 32"flat screen TV, queen bed, jetted whirlpool bath tub with a separate stall shower.
There is a half bath off the living room area and a full-size laundry room with washer and dryer, iron board and iron. Two doors open to a huge 20‘ x 40‘ deck. Half of the deck is covered for shade. There are wood floors throughout the home with carpet in the master bedroom and on the steps.

UPPER LEVEL:
Spacious open hallway, wood floors throughout. Three bedrooms with queen beds, one bedroom with two full beds, flat screen 32" TVs in all of the bedrooms.
The beautiful main upstairs bump-out bathroom has a huge soaking tub, separate stall shower. Second full upstairs bath has a tub/shower combo. Two upper bedrooms have doors that lead out to the 10‘ x 20‘ fully covered balcony deck for your enjoyment.

OUTSIDE:
Our decks were stained in March 2023.
Large shower with new faucet, hot and cold water, beach toys and a new gas grill. Huge 20’ x 40’ loaded deck with two Adirondack chairs, two chase lounges, a glass table with eight chairs, large picnic table and a picnic table for the kids.

VEHICLE PARKING:
Very easy pull in/out parking on this oversize lot. Ample room for four large vehicles. The road in front is a double wide road and not a small little side road.

If summer 2023 was like 2022, it will fill up fast! Ocean Lakes continues to be the #1 vacation destination on the east coast, and we are proud to say it recently won the ARVC'S (Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds) "Park of the Year" in the Mega Park Category! If you have vacationed at OL, you know all it has to offer with the beautiful 1 mile of beachfront to the daily scheduled activities, playgrounds, Kamp Starfish, and so much more!

News for our homes:
We will be renting Corner House from mid June thru July only.
Double Decker will be rented for the 2 Easter Weeks and May thru October, full weeks only.
June, July and August will be from Saturday to Saturday only and May and October any 7 day increments.

We have just completed our fall maintenance on our homes and will be saving some of our purchases for early spring such as new refrigerators, and the usual spring chores like deep cleaning, power washing, staining of decks, painting, etc. We just added 7 new 32" tv's in all bedrooms.

We will be using a new cleaning company in 2023, which we have already secured.

Don't forget to reserve early so you get the week you want!

Ocean Lakes Wins Big at National Conference |

We are excited to announce that Ocean Lakes Family Campground has been awarded “ARVC Park of the Year” (Mega Park Category) by the National Association of RV Parks & Campgrounds (ARVC) during ARVC’s Annual Outdoor Hospitality Conference and Expo today in Orlando, FL. The award is presented to the campground that consistently delivers exceptional guest experiences as a result of its all-around excellence. This is the seventh time the family-owned campground has earned the industry’s highest award.

We are appreciative and humbled for the recognition and prestigious award. As we accept this award, we think back to July 2, 1971, and then to where we are today. We continue to grow and expand on Mr. and Mrs. Jackson’s vision. To all of our Happy Campers, Annual Leaseholders, and Teammates - Your love, support, and dedication to the campground are a big reason we are bringing this award home – Thank you all ❤️
