Took some time out today to visit the Churchill War Rooms (highly recommend) and have a bit of a soggy stroll around the city. Lunch at Marks and Spencer food hall - and there may or may not have been a little shopping. We love group travel - but there‘s something to be said for exploring a city all on your own. If you could have a day all to yourself in any city in the world- where would you go?

I just visited the wonderful Marmottan Museum in Paris. It has a wonderful collection of impressionist art amongst other styles. It includes Soleil Levant by Monet - the one that inspired Impressionism and works by Morisot. Before visiting it we will include an Impressionist art lesson taught by a local artist where you will copy one of the works in the museum!
