Some of the trash from a few trash sweeps over the past week at Washington Street Pier and Launch, the Waveland Lighthouse, elsewhere. Still need to sort through everything, lots of good stuff...kids toys, sandals, glasses, suntan lotion, shirts, etc. Lots of clothing items I'll wash and donate to Goodwill, and I'll go ahead and sort out the recyclables and drop at recycling.

Weather is gettin' nice...went out yesterday and had a great time! Super relaxing and fun. Testing out a new downwind sail I just got, but the wind died down right when I got out there. 🙁 Oh well...still had a great time paddling from Washington Street Pier and Launch to the Bay St. Louis Municipal Harbor. Got a great view of Bouy's Bar, Tripletails Restaurant , Dan B's Restaurant & Bar, The Blind Tiger Bay St. Louis, the bridges, the sunset, etc. Also had my Bluetooth speaker INSIDE the Kayak, which was like a big amp! Had a little Marvin Gaye, a little of this, a little of that. Good stuff! I've got 400 lumens headlamps for night trips, gonna light up the kayaks with colored LEDs. I do full moon trips, sunset trips, sunrise trips. I'll go any day of the week, any time of the day or night, anywhere! And...my goal is for you to have a GOOD TIME! Awesome trip last night. Super calm, with a big bright full moon. 🌕 Tried out the new 500 lumens headlamps,, which worked great! I do trips any time of the day, 7 days a week. Hit me up if you want to go have some fun! 😎🤘🏼

Full moon trip in Bay St. Louis back bay tomorrow night...Cedar Point Boat Launch...7 o'clock. Should be a beautiful evening...partly cloudy, temp around 65. Who wants to go!?

Great weekend of kayaking! Took some folks out on Friday and Saturday, and volunteered to provide safety support for Swim Across The Bay this morning. A BIG shout-out and THANK YOU to everyone for supporting Mississippi Kayak and to Bay Saint Louis Running Company for the opportunity to participate in the event today and putting my logo on the race shirts! 🙂🤘🏼

Heads-up, and paddles-up! Mississippi Kayak will be volunteering to provide safety support for Swim Acoss The Bay on Sunday, September 18. I will have kayaks in the water to provide support in case any swimmers get into trouble. If anyone is interested in volunteering but you don't have your own kayak, I am more than happy to provide a kayak, paddle, and life vest for free. You MUST have some experience kayaking and be comfortable paddling in (semi) open water. Contact me if interested. Thanks!
